Bryan Carter said:Man, you are seriously suffering from some massive complexes regarding that fan group from Pula. They recognized the call from the capital, not because of your blatant attempt at manipulation. You're being a total provocateur; it feels like you're trying to force a very grim conclusion on the Demons.

Stop with the mindless guessing games and just compare these photos to the celebration video I posted from Savannah. Once you do that, you can rest easy knowing this isn't about "complexes"—it's just reality. 👍 It’s a shame, honestly; I actually wish things were even more intense in Florida, with the whole city decked out in yellow and green.

Maybe that'll happen for the 40th anniversary. 🙂 Until then, a new generation will eventually turn a new page for the Florida fan corps.

Let's look at 👍

Now, let's compare that to how things went down in a city like Savannah for their anniversary:

And keep in mind, Savannah is nearly twice the size of a place like Charleston.

But that’s just how it works. It’s the difference between a city that stands its ground, defies everyone, and pushes its own narrative, versus one that just folded into the historically dominant crowd and doesn't even attempt to push back or champion a local club and a local identity. 👍 That’s the reality. In Charleston, outsiders recognized the vibe and jumped in to light the torches for the home team. But in Savannah? Most people probably didn't even realize the ultras were celebrating an anniversary—at least not unless they were reading the boring fine print on some social media posts. Why? Because the main stand in Savannah sings along with the visiting fans, and the Mayor is out there wearing the opposing team's jersey.

It’s a shame this is allowed to happen, but I’m betting the younger generations will be smarter about it.

It’s clear the hatred you folks in the North harbor for the Demons is blinding you; you’re writing from such a bitter perspective instead of showing an ounce of objectivity.
Zero objectivity here. You're trying to manipulate the narrative through your inferiority complex regarding the Demons. Honestly, nobody would be happier than me if 300 Funcuts showed up to every away game against the home team in Seattle. I’d sign that deal in a heartbeat. As for the streets, I’ve had my best fights alongside the Funcuts. But everything else I mentioned stands. You’re coming at me with comparisons to basketball? Look, the Funcuts are mediocre at basketball, too. Just watch their matchups or their trips to play teams in Miami. It’s subpar and doesn't even compare to the Demons. Why is it so hard for you all to admit? We'll end this topic here, but it's obvious from miles away who is speaking from a place of pure insecurity.
And one more thing. You actually think there are more local fans in Seattle than in Savannah? Don't embarrass yourself. There isn't an active sub-group of the main fan club in the whole region, whereas the Savannah contingent is one of the leading groups in the South.
The sheer amount of nonsense you write, and then you have the nerve to claim people are just making things up out of spite.

There is no hatred toward the Demons. The only thing that bothers me about them is how much they suck up to the Warriors fans, that's it, nothing else. I've said it a million times already. 👍 I think it's an embarrassment to San Francisco and to the Demons themselves.

As for the rest of the post, I don't agree with you, but let's just end this here because it's going nowhere. 👍

stormysailor2 said:They outclass the Funcuts in every single metric of fandom. Just look at the away game presence. Look at the messaging. Compare the visuals, the choreography, the sheer energy of the chanting, even the banners. In every category, they’re in a different league entirely. The only thing keeping them neck-and-neck is those minor away attendance numbers—not that the Funcuts are any more consistent, often skipping trips or showing up without even a single banner. Is there anything else left to debate?

Just look at the birthday celebrations for Demon and Funcut—you can clearly see where the real supporters are and where they aren't.

When it comes to raw numbers, a city like Portland has about 650,000 people while somewhere like Savannah has around 145,000. Sure, Portland might have an edge since more people there follow the big local team compared to Savannah, but the sheer population size still favors Portland.
And honestly, look at some of those Funcut basketball games; they’re easily on par with Demon’s energy. 👍

It seems to me there's no logic here, just pure bitterness toward Savannah and the Funcuts driving this. I say let both groups grow. Let local pride flourish and finally put an end to all these artificial territorial disputes. 👍

goldentinker8 said:Ufff, man, what an amateurish and totally missed mark of an analysis! Seriously, how do you even get there?

First off... you're comparing apples to oranges here! Sure, San Diego has been winning stuff lately, but let's be real—success breeds hype, especially when a team isn't fighting just to stay afloat. It's like the Bay Area is living through its absolute golden era right now. It’s like our old glory days back in '99... back then, we'd pull 8,000 people easily. Now, when the team is scraping the bottom of the table, it's just not the same draw as a team fighting for a spot in the big leagues like they are in the Bay Area.

Secondly... you aren't just counting 1,900 people watching San Francisco games. You have to factor in all the traveling fans from the big rival cities who show up whenever they play the local team. Just adding those die-hard away crowds bumps that number up by like 6,000 or 7,000 people alone!

Thirdly... our numbers dip every single game, and honestly, I have no clue why that happens. So, even if the actual average is sitting around 5,000 right now, it doesn't matter... because if you catch that massive wave of euphoria hitting the Bay Area like it's hitting San Francisco right now, that average jumps to 7,000 or 8,000 before you can even blink! So, if we're talking a real comparison, we're looking at maybe 1,500 versus 7,000 or 8,000, and buddy, that is a massive, gaping difference!

As for everything else... thank God the local ultras don't try to take over the whole city every time they play the rivals, or man, things would get wild real fast!🤣 👍

The issue is that readers aren't using their subscriptions; people are just sneaking in through the side doors instead of following the rules. I don't know if the readers are the problem or if the subscription codes are just poorly managed, but it's irrelevant. Plus, when a subscription is physically printed, every third issue goes unread. It's the same situation in the East and North; I can't speak for the West.
The club knows about the issue, but nothing is going to change this season.

I was just thinking back to what neonorca38 said about Demon's numbers being low—but honestly, they aren't even that small when you compare them to what we see over in the Philly area.

I never said the numbers were small; Mr. Gary Cooper3 was just explaining the reasoning behind them. You're imagining things again, your focus is slipping...
There’s definitely a reason why attendance at stadiums like the one in Miami, or especially in New York or Chicago, seems low compared to the total city population. However, we don't have actual data on how many fans live in the city versus those traveling in from out of town, so commenting on it is pointless. I’d love to have those stats so we could finally debunk some of these myths.😁

The team would have way more viewers overall if they didn't play every single Friday afternoon and actually managed to get some results on the pitch.

They’re fighting for a spot in Europe, so where else are you going to get better invites?

They’d have plenty of fans if they actually stood up for their own city and neighborhood, instead of just letting those hooligans run wild through the streets and the stadium while the club coddles them. Why would any neutral fan want to be part of that mess or feel tied to some guy from a small town just because of some old friendship? It’s just not happening.
Better to hang out with a cool crowd than be a loser. 👍

People these days will believe just about any nonsense—so why wouldn't they fall for the idea that big shots like Mamić, Mišković, Kustić, and Rajić Sudar are pushing for a massive Hajduk at the expense of little old Rijeka...

We all follow Major League Baseball; we aren't blind. The Yankees are a force, and that’s where the conversation ends.

Look, Jordan, you aren't the one who gets to decide what anyone else believes. 🤣 That's just how it works. Maybe think twice before you hit reply next time.

Deni Juric (loan, LA Galaxy)

Antonio Marin (loan, LA Galaxy)

Niko Jankovic (loan, LA Galaxy)

Bruno Goda (free agent, Portland Timbers)

Bruno Bogojevic (free agent, Portland Timbers)

Emir Dilaver (free agent, LA Galaxy)

Emmanuel Banda (free agent, Stockholm FC)

Danilo Veiga (free agent, Gil Vicente)

Look, it’s simple. We’ve got our own guy in there, yet somehow everyone still pushes against us—especially that Hajduk crew acting like they’re on some different planet. But honestly, it’s always been this way and it’ll never change. You’ve always got the big powers like the Yankees, the Dodgers, the Red Sox, and the Braves... then you've got the rest of us just fighting to stay relevant on our own.

It’s just the Hajduk fans getting worked up. As for the club itself? It's nothing special. Just doesn't move the needle for me.

Christian Miller48 said:It’s a total pipe dream. What can fans even do against a political cult that has bribed and holds a huge chunk of the population in its pocket? They basically guarantee themselves half the votes every single election... So what can the fans actually do about that? You're seriously underestimating how gullible people are and just how much control the Republican Party has over them.

You have to realize that most of these voters—or at least a huge portion of them—are literate, they can read, and they follow the news every day. They are fully aware of all the bullshit and the threats coming from the Republican Party daily, yet they still vote for them...

I agree that we shouldn't underestimate the Republican Party's grip, but I think you're also underestimating the power of the streets. Right now, we’re living in a society that looks exactly like a pen full of sheep while the wolves pick them off one by one. The public just stands there watching. In this country, there is no critical mass willing to stand up to the wolves, except for the hardcore fan movements. We’re like towers standing around—instead of charging at the wolves and tearing them apart, we're just hanging out behind the barn, fighting amongst ourselves, eating, drinking, and sleeping. That’s basically the reality. And when the wolves finally go after one of us, the rest of us just laugh and mock him while he struggles.

Zoran Mamić is being presented today simply because he can. All the scandals in this country happen because they can. They happen because we stand on the sidelines making excuses for them. And the absolute peak of this insanity is the retarded, forced divisions between left and right, Republican vs Democrat, or whatever other nonsense they feed us. It's just us gnawing on bones while they laugh at us. Some things need to be changed for the sake of America and our children, not for some political party, some club, or some specific group.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
Once people finally realize that the issue isn't just about Mamić or the DNC, but actually lies with the GOP and the political machine at large—once they understand that venting on forums, Facebook, or over drinks at a bar doesn't actually change anything, and when fans finally unite behind a single goal and take to the streets of New York City... when they channel all that creativity and organization toward fighting the root cause instead of just the symptoms... that is when the Federation, Real Madrid, or the entire country will truly change.

Everything else is just whining ☕ And my post included.
