Here’s a little story from last night, haha. It didn't really bother me, but still... all the relatives kept asking us what we’re going to name the baby girl. I told them, "whatever Dad wants." Then they asked, "And?" He just stayed quiet, so I kind of snapped, "Well, why aren't you saying anything?" He finally said "Frankie," and everyone just burst out laughing. But seriously, Dad was like, "Please, just pick a pretty name for her." Me😕😕 🤣🤣
Ugh, I am actually feeling quite frustrated about this now! 😠😠 My in-laws really got under my skin today... we were visiting them... Since I'm still a relatively new driver, everyone is suddenly hovering over me, which is fine... But I really can't stand being micromanaged when someone tells me ten different times that I shouldn't drive anywhere by myself. For instance, tomorrow I have to go somewhere where I feel a real sense of duty to show up, and I don't want to burden anyone, so I'll just take my own car. It’s a route I haven't tackled alone before, but I guess I'll manage... yet they keep insisting that it's probably not a good idea for me to go anywhere. It's just so confusing, especially since I have an obligation, and they seem to be ignoring how I actually feel. They just want me to stay home so they can feel less anxious, and maybe I'm being mean, but it's just so irritating, to the point where I have to raise my voice and remind them that I am perfectly capable. I even mentioned I was going to stay with my family for a few days, and they didn't take that well either... They suggested my husband come along, but I said no because I'll be staying there for a bit... A few other things set me off too, but oh well, I suppose I shouldn't sweat the small stuff...
It’s actually kind of surprising how my husband has been acting since I became pregnant. Even when we have a little disagreement, he’s always the first one to come over and give me a kiss.. 😁 I guess maybe he’ll just stay this way forever 🤣 . But I really have to share this story—the other day I was at my OBGYN, and I was already bracing myself for some stern lectures because of my diabetes, but instead, he just goes, "Well, I think I've figured you out" . I was just like, um... . Then, he actually complimented me, saying he could see how disciplined I'm being and told me to keep it up... but THEN... he shouts, "TRAITORS!" 😕 "Now everyone is a traitor," I said . I was just stunned 😕😕 . And then he spent ten whole minutes lecturing me about politics and that Gotovina verdict and how Americans are all traitors, while the British are this and that... but he says, "When Americans finally lose it one day, everyone will see" . 😕😕 I really don't feel like going back there at all...
I wrote a whole post and then deleted it... so I guess I'll just write a shorter version... My husband and I were at a local DMV yesterday picking up some new registration papers for the car. It was sweltering outside, and I was feeling pretty nauseous... We grabbed our paperwork and headed straight to the counter because, you know, pregnant women get priority over everyone else. Naturally, the people behind us started grumbling about us cutting in line. My husband lost his cool and started shouting that I'm pregnant and they should be able to see that! People were just snapping back like, "So what?!" Then, to our absolute shock, the rude clerk tells him that he shouldn't be arguing with customers and that he could have just let me handle the counter alone. He was just standing there looking completely bewildered...
I honestly couldn't believe a woman would actually say something like that. Like, I am pregnant and I have priority—what is even the issue?!?? My husband stepped outside to grab a smoke, and a coworker asked her what happened, and she just goes, "He went out to light up." With this incredibly stupid, smug look on her face. At that point, I told her she was being totally uncivilized. It was just awful, truly awful. I was in total disbelief...
Later, as we were heading back toward the insurance office, she was outside smoking and said, "Here come my little troublemakers from the counter." By then, my husband had calmed down, but I honestly felt like slapping her... I almost wanted to just snatch the papers from her hands, walk to a different window, and flip off every single person in the building while sticking my tongue out!! Yesterday was just such a frustrating mess...
Bryan Diaz said:Well, I think my father-in-law might have gotten a little too brave after a few drinks—he actually looked at me and said, Hey there, gorgeous! Honestly, all I wanted to do was fire back with a quick, Hey there, drunkard! But, I suppose I decided to hold my tongue instead. 😁
Haha, maybe... 🤣🤣 No one calls me "gorgeous" yet, or anything like that... except for my husband... but if they did, I guess I don't know if it would actually bother me that much.
It honestly surprises me that my husband still doesn't know what Ajax or Clorox even is, or what they're used for! 🤣 It also catches me off guard how I haven't been able to catch up with any of my pregnant friends or coworkers lately, though we're all here... I just can't seem to make it happen. I really don't get why, either... it’s just like I have zero free time... the whole day just slips away. And I keep thinking to myself, if I don't have time now, when will I ever have it? What’s really getting to me... I don't even know anymore... I think I'm just getting on my own nerves! I find myself crying quite often because I've overthought something, but then again, I've always been a bit of a crybaby. So, I guess it doesn't surprise me too much right now. But I am genuinely shocked at WHERE on earth those 10 pounds went! Nobody even notices that I've gained so much weight... everyone acts like I only put on 5 pounds.
Then the scale hits me right in the face when I finally step on it! And honestly, it's so frustrating that my husband won't just buy a digital scale for the house!!
Honestly, I don't get worked up about much... I just feel so bad about how fast time is flying by, and my mom keeps asking when I'll come visit her for a few days, since I finally have some free time... but I really don't, because I'm constantly running around dealing with doctor appointments here and there, dropping off paperwork at one office and then another... I'd gladly let my dad handle all this, but he's actually pretty good at it, so I'd rather just do it myself.... I guess if I handed the papers to him and he messed something up, I might not even get my reimbursement check. 😁 And then I just tell my mom that I can't make it... which makes me feel pretty sad... I actually spent two hours crying this morning because I feel like my husband doesn't truly see me at all.😁
haha, whenever I complain about having love handles, my husband tells me they're actually super sexy! haha, but why though? because he’s got a massive amount of them right on his lower back... sooo much... does he really think if he calls mine sexy, I won't notice his?! maybe!! 🤣🤣
I definitely recommend Dr. Zoran Cević over on Ivan Brlic Mazuranić Street in Brooklyn. I actually saw him back when I was just a kid wearing braces. He is honestly such a great doctor! Even though he has a private practice, I didn't have to pay a dime when I was younger, I guess.
That works. I guess she might have been running late while we were at the beach or maybe on the drive back from the coast, if things just went that way.
I think I should probably change my username, or at least tweak it a little bit... because I have some private issues stemming from a previous post, so I was wondering if that’s even possible?
Insomnia and nightmares... I woke up around 4:00 AM last night completely drenched in sweat, I had this terrifying dream and was just so scared that I couldn't get back to sleep at all, and honestly, I seem to wake up at the same time every single night and just can't drift off again, I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in, so I'm just incredibly exhausted because of it, I feel like crying all the time and maybe it feels like the end of the world every day... that's all for now...
Well, I guess I wasn't really trying to ask if I was ovulating at that exact moment, but rather if what I'm thinking might actually be possible, given everything happening and all these new developments!
I’m just asking about something I don't quite understand and it's feeling a bit confusing... I suppose it isn't against the rules here... anyway, thanks for all the help!
Oh my goodness, I am just so lost... I'm trying to figure out how to calculate this right now... should it be a few days after my period, or maybe a few days before the next one starts?? I have no idea, it's so confusing!
Ladies, I have a quick question for you all... my last period started on September 23rd, and we had intercourse during what I thought were my fertile days. It's already day 41 and my period still hasn't arrived... I actually took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago, but it came back negative—that's three tests in a row now. I'm just wondering if those were truly my fertile days; I felt like my ovulation was spot on, but now I'm completely confused... I haven't had any PMS symptoms at all, and I don't even have that feeling like my period is about to start. __________________
So, I stopped taking my birth control pills last month after about eighteen months, before that my cycles were all over the place, but they finally leveled out once I started the pill. Last month, we had some unprotected sex right during my fertile window, and based on my math, I was expecting my period around Friday or maybe Saturday, the 22nd or 23rd. I took a test on Friday the 22nd, and it came back negative. I haven't really noticed any pregnancy symptoms or even PMS, though I did have a bit of nausea about a week and a half after ovulation, but that was it. So, I guess it’s pretty likely my period will just show up in a few days, since everything is going back to how it was before I quit the pill. Am I right?
