Should you give your phone number to panhandlers? in Miscellaneous ·
If you actually want to be helpful, you’re better off just getting their number and giving them a call once you've actually picked up what they need.🤷

There is absolutely no way I'm handing out someone's phone number to the whole neighborhood.

I did a little digging online, so I think I'll go ahead and pick some up myself.

What exactly is that Bacitracin powder supposed to do? Someone please enlighten me.😁

I’ve got some Tylenol, Advil, and a throat spray on hand.

That’s about it—I'll just pick up more if things actually get bad.
I always keep tea and honey stocked up, though; I drink that even when I'm feeling perfectly fine.

It could be pretty good, though I feel like Elizabeth really carried that one—it’s such an interesting topic. I'll definitely be checking it out.

Bonus: Jack Nicholson—well, he’s great playing any kind of maniac or psycho. But honestly? I never actually felt like he was *acting* the part. He just is. 😁

I don't know. Guys like Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson—that whole crew, they're always solid and fun to watch, honestly. Not sure what else I could even pull out of thin air.

Plus Russell Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind"

I’ve never been one for private messages.😁

That’s why I like this forum—nobody's ever trying to nag me in my inbox.😍

It’s funny whenever people ask where they can actually find a decent partner...
You really need to get your grandmother to a doctor. Don't just let her sit there in this condition, because things could take a turn for the worse very quickly.
And please, don't go handing out any pills on your own; that’s strictly something a physician needs to prescribe.

loneowl39 said:It’s likely just that you aren't quite the pretentious social climber they want you to be. They probably view themselves as being out of your league, and since you don't play along with their little act, you're essentially ruining their carefully curated image.
In other words, you just don't have that same "cool" factor they do.🙄

I don't see why there has to be such an immediate rush to reduce women to nothing more than their physical descriptions.🙄

Whatever issue might be brewing here, the author really ought to handle it herself. Instead of letting things fester online, she should just grab those girls for a coffee or meet up with them somewhere out in the real world to hash it out.
If they keep turning us down, we should just move on, find a new crew, and call it a day. Simple as that.
Look, they aren't the only girls in town. Honestly, it’s much better to just be on your own for a while and focus on finding some actual, high-quality friends rather than trying to force a connection with someone just for the sake of it.

Alexander Martinez12 said:I’m 20 years old, incredibly outgoing, and I love meeting new people. I’m a social butterfly through and through—I live for a good laugh and a great conversation. But here’s the catch: I never actually go out. Aside from spending maybe one or two weekends a month with my boyfriend, my social life is non-existent. Even though I’m always striking up conversations and being upfront with people, nobody ever invites me to anything.🤷 Occasionally, I might get an invite for a quick coffee, but when it comes to weekend plans? Crickets.
Here’s a perfect example of how this works: A friend and I planned to hit up a club together. Out of nowhere, another friend showed up, and they both suddenly made up some excuse about having to leave just thirty minutes after arriving because of a birthday party. They bailed, leaving me to ride a bus all the way across Los Angeles because it felt ridiculous to head home just an hour after getting there.
A few days later, I see them posted online at the exact same club I was supposed to be at.
What is wrong with me?😕 I’m communicative, I’m open, and I’m definitely not stuck-up or conceited. Yet, for some reason, I just don't seem to be anyone's type of person to hang out with.😢

Start calling people yourself. Organize something. If you're really as outgoing and social as you say, it’s pretty weird that no one is reaching out to you. Maybe you talk too much and you're actually a bit exhausting (honestly, those aren't the types of people I invite out 😁)
- when someone starts spreading nothing but pure negativity (everything is falling apart, everything sucks, and NO, things are NEVER going to get better...)
- blatant selfishness
- when people just have zero consideration for anyone else
