Toe Deformity Issues in Health ·
wiredharbor22 said:I mentioned that people have actually told me to my face that they look terrible. It’s possible I am overthinking things—since I tend to overthink everything—but I don't know how to stop. They are just there. No matter how much I tell myself it doesn't matter, one single glance at them destroys everything I've tried to build up...

Question: Would you find a woman like that attractive, even with messed-up toes?

It all depends on everything else, both physically and personality-wise. Nobody is perfect, even if some people think they are. If she happens to have perfect physical features, she’s probably got issues in her head or something else going on.

If you're asking me if I'd date a girl like that, yeah, I would, provided the rest of her looks okay and, most importantly, she's a good person who has those spiritual qualities I look for in women. Honestly, that part doesn't move the needle for me that much.

Oh man, what an absolutely brutal thread title 😲 Look, you can't view things that way. Have some self-respect. Just because you think your toes look a certain way doesn't mean they actually are that ugly. I honestly think you're letting this weigh you down unnecessarily, and you should probably focus on working on that mindset instead of trying to fix your feet. I know a woman who has a pinky toe that sits almost right on top of her foot, and she rocks open-toed shoes and sandals all summer without a single complex about it.

It’s been bothering me since day two or three after the "rescue" (though it actually looks a bit lighter now than when it first happened).

What should I be putting on it? 😢

Don't let that thing hit the sun, or the scar is going to stand out way more.
Douglas Ortiz94 said:About two weeks now.

Yeah, it definitely looks thickened. But even within that red patch, if you stretch the skin out, you can just see this tiny little line where the wound healed—barely a millimeter wide.

So what else could it be if it isn't just irritation or some bruising under the surface?

Some kind of weird skin reaction?

The skin is probably just reacting hard to John🤷.

That stuff could easily stick around for a while.
Wrong thread, man. This belongs in Psychology, where you can actually get some real psychological advice.

Honestly, this stuff feels just like acupuncture.😁
rowdyangler64 said:So, I had a bit of an incident yesterday—got stung by a bee right above my tailbone... I’m not allergic or anything, and I actually dealt with one sting earlier this summer, but this was on a whole different level of pain. My leg has been completely numb from the hip down to halfway through. It's making walking a real struggle at the moment. Honestly, I have no idea how a single bee sting can trigger something quite that intense.

Honestly, based on what you're describing, it sounds like you accidentally got a spinal block. Like, you hit the jackpot for numbness by total accident.

Anyway, if you aren't allergic, just throw some ice on it and hang in there until it wears off.

Is it actually worth picking up micellar casein? I’ve never messed with it before, so I'm wondering if it beats out whey. If they both work, when does it actually make sense to go with the casein instead?
Douglas Ortiz94 said:Like I said before, the wound is totally healed. The scabs are long gone, too. But that redness? It’s still hanging around. It hasn't budged an inch. 😢

I'm betting that's just some blood that surfaced while they were cleaning out the wound.
Maybe I’m overthinking this, but I really want to know if there's any way to make this redness fade faster. A friend suggested using some heparin cream, so now I'm sitting here wondering if that actually does anything. Or should I just stick to a standard moisturizer?

I’m low-key spiraling thinking this is just how my skin looks forever. I’ve gotta believe there’s some way for that blood to break down and for the redness to finally chill out. There's got to be a fix.
If it were just a little scratch, I wouldn't give a damn. But this? This is a whole different story. It says John right there on my chest. Clear as day.Lol, seriously. I honestly can't deal with this anymore.

I need some serious backup here. Somebody please help me out! 🙂

Add this at the end. -a Nobody’s gonna get what you're saying. Everyone is just gonna assume you've got a massive crush on some girl. 👍

So I gave the guys over at Pro Nutrition a call this morning to get my protein fix sent out, but they told me they’re totally wiped out. Apparently, their stock ran dry today and they won't have a new shipment coming in for a few weeks. 😢

Now I'm stuck having to drop a ton of cash on those overpriced proteins again. 👎

I’d say this belongs in a psychology textbook. You really have to dig deep to figure out what kind of mental glitch makes someone actually enjoy this, or if it's just some compulsive habit they can't shake.

Roger Sanders said:Hold up, Bernie Sanders, which facility near the influenza center isn't open to the public?

Are you saying only certain people get access there?

BTW, what's the deal with that new gym in Gotham? I heard it's massive, just like Gulliver, but without being insanely overpriced.

I know the gym near the influenza center—it’s the one with the arena where you enter through the parking lots on the west side. If that's the one we're talking about, I'm pretty sure it's not open to the general public; it's strictly for the basketball players. At least, that's my guess.

Bernie Sanders is actually over at the Blatina bunker, right above that traffic light near the Firule hospital. Unless he opened somewhere else, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

The one in Gotham isn't bad. About $92 people show up three times a week, and it's not actually that huge, unless they expanded recently. You can easily check that since I hit the Gotham spot almost every other day. I was actually in that specific gym about six months ago, so if they added more space since then, I'm out of the loop. Personally, I go to Champion, which is right by Gotham. I don't feel like trekking up to the fourth floor. It's never crowded, and $33 is cheaper than Gotham, plus the equipment is solid.

I used to hit up Radman back in the day, and honestly, it’s a killer spot. I haven't been lately, so I'm not totally sure what the current vibe is.

That gym over by Baća under the restaurant is actually pretty sweet. It's great in the winter because you can just hop on a treadmill and stare at the ocean. It's spacious enough, and it never seems to get packed.

Right now, I'm pulling up to Champion right next to Joker. It's solid, but the main thing for me is that it's super close and I never have to wait for equipment.

If you really want the top-tier experience, go check out Gulliver in Solin. They usually do an upfront annual membership thing, but man, they have everything. Everything is brand new and there's zero crowd. Might be a bit pricey if you ask me.

Personally, I think Dijan Gym is a decent shout too.

As for that one near the flu clinic, I'm not even sure if they're open to the public yet.
It honestly drives me nuts when people think they have the right to micromanage my life. They love trying to lecture me on how to live, even though they’re the ones who clearly need a lesson or two themselves. Plus, they act like they're some kind of supreme judge over everything I do, acting like my choices have anything to do with them. Total nonsense.
