Motion sickness while driving in Health ·
I'm the same way—staring straight ahead is the only thing that keeps me steady. God forbid I try to turn my head or lean over even an inch. I just sit there like a statue the whole trip, eyes locked on the road ahead.🙂

Btw, I wasn't actually planning on having this blessed, but things just kind of worked out that way.🤷

fadedmason16 said:I managed to hold out on coffee until noon today. Then I hit my run, knocked out my training, and just had some water and cold green tea—about a cup of each. Threw down a slice of watermelon and a peach, too. Honestly, I’m not even hungry.
Thinking about making some aglio e olio for lunch... just olive oil, a bit of garlic, maybe some red pepper flakes, and call it a day.
Dinner is looking like more watermelon, so basically just hydration at this point.
🙂

Man, oh man. You're doing it wrong😲. You've gotta eat breakfast! There's no way you're hitting your five meals if you're fasting until noon. Plus, everything you ate today was basically just 🙏U.S. Food, pasta, and veggies. You are seriously lacking protein. And then you're planning on having carbs again for dinner? If you actually want to drop weight without losing all your muscle, you need to be getting at least 1g of protein per kilo of body weight (nutritionally speaking). Especially considering what you've put away today.🙂

It just felt a little weird to me...🤣

I’ve picked up Miller's bread a couple of times whenever I spotted it at the grocery store. As for that Murphy bread, I haven't heard a single thing about it.🤷

Just keep in mind that what you eat is everything. I mean, if you aren't fueling your body the right way, you're just spinning your wheels and won't see any weight loss.😉
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Kimberly Booth said:Look, don't get mad at me, but these things work for some people and just don't touch the spot for others. Thank God that Perrier actually did the trick for you, because honestly, I’d be thrilled if it worked for me too, but I guess I’m just not one of those lucky ones.🙄

Hey, I'm not actually mad or anything, I just find myself laughing at how much of a total wreck I am right now.😉

And I know I can be a handful too. Honestly, I've been obsessing over Perrier so much lately you'd think they were paying my bills.🤣
My eye is drifting! in Health ·
Donna Taylor68 said:so does your eye drift every now and then, or is it just constantly off-center?
mine drifts to the right, and honestly, people look at me like I've lost my mind.
I try to keep it under control, which works okay when I've actually slept, but once fatigue hits, both eyes just decide to head in opposite directions.😁
I've done all those standard exercises too; the pencil thing near the nose, covering one eye while drawing, even the one where you try to put a cat in a window or a car in a garage...
is anyone else seriously out here trying to shove cats into windows?!? 😍
anyway, things have been way easier since I started wearing contacts.

My son deals with Strasbourg, and he used to do all that stuff—putting cats in windows, soldiers in dollhouses... man, I still remember how many necklaces he made out of pasta.
Could just be PMS, honestly.🙂

Kimberly Booth said:From what I can tell, he’s already dealing with inflammation, so he definitely needs some cream. He could probably pair that with some Perrier, too. I tried drinking it myself, but honestly, it didn't do much for me—my bathroom schedule is still all over the place.

You mentioned you tried it. The trick is staying consistent; you've got to have at least three servings on an empty stomach every single morning.👍

Honestly, using Faktu is way easier, and as for the shots, the pain usually dies down after the second round. Just a heads-up though—don't go taking hot showers right away, because that just makes the inflammation flare up.🙂

If you're dealing with hemorrhoids, the absolute most important thing is keeping your bowel movements regular. I’ve found that sipping on some Perrier really helps keep things moving—trust me on that one. As for the pain and inflammation, Faktu can definitely step in when things get flared up, but honestly, it's always better to stay ahead of it than to try and play catch-up later.😉
The vicious cycle of "bad" food in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Dana Miller2 said:Bravo. Honestly, it’s pretty great you’ve already figured some of this stuff out at 21. Once you hit 25, trying to get your body back in shape becomes a whole different beast.😁

And don't even get me started on what happens after 40.🙄

We’re constantly being bombarded by ads for junk food—you know the drill, "share these chips with a buddy," "milk chocolate packed with calcium for healthy growth," or some other pitch for quick, easy meals...
Nobody ever bothers to mention what’s actually inside that stuff nutritionally; they just make sure you see a picture of broccoli soup when there isn't a single trace of actual broccoli in the can. People genuinely seem to think they're serving up a nutritious meal if they just whip up some canned soup, or that their kids will grow up strong and healthy on nothing but Hershey bars and those sugary fruit yogurts. It’s all just dirty marketing tactics.😢
Ordering medication from overseas in Health ·
Michael Williams70 said:I could use a little help here. Does anyone know if there's a pharmacy that handles international orders from overseas, specifically from Italy? I need to track down some "Brunac" eye drops for my wife. They're manufactured in Italy, and they've completely vanished from the shelves here in the States. She used to pick them up at a pharmacy over on Pokoran Street in Chicago, but they're totally out of stock now.
The condition she’s dealing with is pretty specific, and those drops are a necessity... no clue why they just stopped carrying them.
Thanks in advance.

Just ask the pharmacist if they handle international orders. I know they do it locally, but you'll definitely need to bring in a prescription from her doctor so they have the paperwork to justify the special order.
Sandra Williams70 said:The woman at the shop claims linen or cotton bedding is perfectly fine—provided you wash it at high temperatures. Apparently, they don't even stock any specialized anti-allergy options.

I know for a fact that Odeya and Svilanit make anti-allergy bedding; they’ll definitely hit your wallet harder, but the quality is actually there.
Headaches caused by back pain? in Health ·
Dealing with the exact same thing. I went to see a physical therapist who suggested things like specialized exercises, hydrotherapy, and electrical stimulation, but honestly, it barely made a dent. For me, nothing really hits the spot quite like regular massage sessions and, personally, sticking to a Pilates routine keeps me sane enough to function.
best,
