Honestly, what kind of fools are you people? You actually root for the real clubs... 🙂
1. New York City
2. Queens Park Rangers
3. Tottenham Hotspur
Just stating the facts. Fools, all of you...

The number one track I’d blast so loud my ears would actually start bleeding:
1. Neutral Milk Hotel - Ghost
This band is quite a favorite among the more... let's say, psychotically inclined individuals.
I honestly feel like David has the most consistent taste when it comes to the frontlines—and I mean that in a good way. Sure, half of what he listens to might be total garbage, but at least it’s *consistently* garbage... which is a level of commitment you just don't see everywhere. It’s certainly better than Natalie's approach. He's one of those guys who, if you actually bother to ask him what his playlist looks like, will just cheerfully tell you he "listens to everything." Natalie is basically the exact same person, only she does it with this insufferable, snobby attitude attached to it... 😬

Now, listen... Funk is great, but "funky" is just bad. 😬
Gentlemen, you are always more than welcome in my humble abode... 🙂 Even if you are just passing through. 😁
There are just a handful of things that make me want to scream at the top of my lungs—though, perhaps, I should refrain... if only to avoid a one-way trip to a psychiatric ward, or worse, having my poor mother read about me in the local news headline:
1. Roy Orbison - In Dreams
2. Neutral Milk Hotel - King of Carrot Flowers
3. Wilco - Shot in the Arm
4. Adam Green - Mozzarella Swastikas
5. Bonnie Prince Billy - I Am a Cinematographer
I suppose there are more, if one were to really sit down and think about it... but these are the ones currently occupying my mind. 🙂

A Solo cup is a Solo cup—there is simply no escaping it once it's in your hands. But when the stakes finally hit the fan, oh boy... 😍
I haven’t actually given that extreme Uno version a spin yet—though, honestly, it seems like a fantastic way to burn through some recreational supplies...

Discipline—that’s what's missing here. You all just spent the whole time debating various ways to shuffle things around... as if anyone actually needs an explanation for how the basics work. It's common knowledge... really. There's no need for this constant back-and-forth where we pretend we're playing one way over here and some other way over there. Just stick to the plan...🙂
Listen, folks, let’s be honest—Briscola is a fundamentally flawed game. Now, I realize that for you people down in the South, it works perfectly fine... because you enjoy a certain rhythm—dealing a hand, pausing to whip up some lunch, glancing at the morning paper, maybe catching up with a cousin on the phone, and then just sliding back into the game like nothing happened. And depending on your mood, where you live, or just how much of a rebel you're feeling that day, you love to bend the rules to suit your own needs. It’s a way of life, I suppose. But for us folks from the Midwest... we prefer a bit more structure when we sit down for a game of cards. We actually like having rules! We like it when someone plays the wrong card and everyone immediately starts shouting—you know, the whole "get out of here" routine—and things get heated. We like it when someone holds all four aces alongside their high trump cards, sweeps the board, and then meticulously records it all on paper so there is absolutely no doubt that they snatched everything from the table while defending their own hand with surgical precision. Of course, you always have those reckless types who try to mess with these age-old traditions by imposing their own little whims upon us... but those people are dealt with very quickly. Rules are what make life work. Amen.

In my high school days, I had ethics instead, though back in middle school, I was required to take religion since I grew up in a suburb like Thorns where those things are mandatory... 😁 Furthermore, I find that the bakery near Rome is quite overrated, honestly.

Good grief, how hideous! DEATH TO EMO HAIRSTYLES!
analogharbor442 said:Tell you what—if you can actually stomach it, I’ll whip up a batch of some killer, high-proof moonshine... just enough to have you puking all over the beautiful Midwestern plains!
Man, forget it... I'm probably just gonna end up throwing up out in the countryside. 🙂
Good grief, now I’m feeling the itch to go too—even though I’ve already got my trip to the coast planned for this Friday...

You people are out of your minds—honestly... I have a bit of a thing for flip-flops. 😍

I actually have two other pairs at home, though I can't quite bring myself to wear them right now... stormywolf39, sorry, I’m on your side here, truly—but those specific ones you posted? Just plain gross. 🙂

You put that quite eloquently... honestly, it actually scares me a little bit how much I find myself agreeing with you. Even regarding my own history with the Grateful Dead—before I finally sat down and listened to >. It is such a stunningly beautiful pop record, and frankly, that’s really all that matters to me. I couldn't care less about their cultural footprint or how massive they were... well, with the exception of >, most of their catalog feels like nothing more than nauseating, over-the-top hippie indulgence. It just bothers me that albums this exquisite get tarnished by that reputation. That's all there is to it. Oh, and I should probably mention... those cigarette laws are just ridiculous.😁
Narantxa said:hey, everyone here just wants to live out some hippie fantasy with their beads and Roman sandals🙂
It isn't being that Rolls-Royce on The Dead—it’s more about those certain types of hippies who act like their music was birthed in some sort of sterile, hermetic vacuum... you know, like it happened in a high-tech hospital wing while they were sipping soy milk and eating seitan in the cafeteria. At the end of the day, the Grateful Dead are essentially a country band... though, goodness, there's just way too much tripping involved, and frankly, far too much nonsense. [IMAGE REMOVED]
Adam Moore said:I don't know, it just kind of gives me those Traveling Wilburys vibes... meh.
First you pay respects to old Jerry, then you move on to the Traveling Wilburys! Did you know that's actually grounds for skipping the line to hell? [IMAGE REMOVED]
