Strep throat symptoms and treatment? in Health ·
After being diagnosed with azoospermia—basically, zero sperm count in the ejaculate—my partner started digging deeper into testing. This included urethral swabs, and the results just came back positive for those damn streptococci. I’m looking for any shared experiences here—how did you handle the treatment? And does anyone know if this could actually be the culprit behind the azoospermia? Thanks.👍

I truly appreciate it—it all helps quite a bit.🙂

I don't have any firsthand experience here, so consider this just some secondhand information I've picked up.

Thanks. We’ll start making calls tomorrow—hopefully, we get them. I've been glued to my screen for days, scouring the web for every tiny detail available. Despite all the skeptics out there, we aren't exactly in a position where we have anything left to lose.

Good day..

I am posting this in the hope that someone might offer some guidance.. My mother is currently battling recurrent rectal carcinoma—inoperable. To get straight to the point—she’s already endured three surgeries, radiation, chemo, and just about every standard approach available. We recently came across something called Thalidomide, which is derived from blue scorpion venom and is intended for patients in my mother's exact situation. The catch—it is only available in Cuba. The initial round of treatment is free since it's still in clinical trials, but from what we've gathered online, people are actually flying to Cuba to seek it out because it seems to work. We have managed to track down seven or eight different phone numbers—all unique—and we are prepared to make the trip if it means easing her suffering even slightly. I am asking anyone with firsthand experience or any insight at all to please reach out; any information would be invaluable. Thank you in advance.

Fine. You fall in love—it’s all-consuming, really—and suddenly nothing else matters except being near them. But what happens when that initial madness fades? When they end up hurting you? Who stays by your side? A friend, hopefully—assuming they haven't vanished. I never actually said anything hurtful to mine; we grew up together, after all. We were tight from the start. I tried to make things work, to hang out, but she wouldn't go anywhere without him—and if we did meet, he was the only topic of conversation. Slowly, we just drifted apart. I got married, but I always make time for my friends—she, unfortunately, didn't. It wasn't some dramatic blowout or a fight. We just... stopped talking.

I have absolutely nothing to say to this...

It’s pure, unadulterated ignorance. I went through it—I survived—but in my eyes, they aren't even friends.

About a year ago, I finally came out to my sister, and our relationship is way better now than it ever was before.

First shock? The total lack of reaction. A day or two passed... everything seemed totally normal... ☕

She’s never once used a slur during an argument, and she never even threatened to out me...

She's three years younger than me, but man, she's mature for her age... got a pretty cool sister, I guess.😍

Glad to hear it. You're her brother—her priority will always be your happiness. I have a close friend who is gay; unfortunately, his family found out by accident and they couldn't handle it—it's gut-wrenching to watch him deal with that kind of rejection.

I mean, you've got the honor of being his first real thing, which honestly feels more important than anything else. You probably need to work on yourself and that self-esteem a bit, though—your insecurity might end up tanking the whole thing if you aren't careful. Just try to believe in yourself more and trust him, too... jealousy is just a total wrecking ball. Don't dwell on what happened in the past; just focus on all the good stuff ahead of you. Good luck.

thanks so much... i'll try... 😍

No problem at all—glad I could at least get a smile out of someone!! Wishing you and your partner the best, and if things get rocky, I'm here.😉

because he stayed by my side when nobody else would; he never turned his back on me, no matter what. God knows how many times I hit rock bottom and spiraled into depression.

Look—you’ve already laid out the facts, and now you're claiming he’s never truly loved anyone but you. You have the distinction of being the first one in his heart—honestly, that matters more than anything else. You need to work on yourself and your own confidence, because if you let this insecurity take over, you’ll ruin everything. Have some faith in yourself and trust him—jealousy is a total disaster and it only destroys things. Stop dwelling on the past; focus on the good things ahead of you. Good luck.

Between dealing with depression and everything else making life miserable, this is just one more thing on the pile—not sure if it’s a big deal or not, honestly.

My husband used to be incredibly jealous—kept it all under the surface, too. Eventually, he started grilling me about things from my past. First it was vague questions, then he wanted specific details. I finally snapped and told him to get a grip—what happened before him has nothing to do with our relationship now. My advice? Calm down. You can't try to make her feel guilty for having a life before you; if anything, that just pushes people away. I'm sure you have a past, too, and she isn't holding it over your head. You can't blame someone for living their life before they met you.
