We went with Dobro Jutro, that bakery over on Main Street🙂 The cake was incredible—totally tasted homemade, and I mean legit homemade quality😬 🙂 just like the pastries. Everything is super negotiable, especially if you work with their pastry chef. He’s a total pro who actually listens to what you want, but he'll also give you honest advice; if a certain flavor combo is gonna melt too fast for a wedding, he'll suggest a better way to go. Plus, you can always just grab a slice of a cake beforehand to test out the flavors. Pricing is pretty much standard compared to everyone else, though I'm not 100% sure on the exact numbers since we got a sweet discount through a friend.🙂 😍

They played ours, and honestly, so many couples we met at weddings have them on their shortlist. 🙂 They are seriously the best—super sweet people who actually play for the love of it, not just to check boxes. They’re high energy, get right out there in the crowd with everyone, and they make the party absolutely insane. Seriously, top tier stuff.👍

I know the folks over at Downovac do classic invitations and thank-you cards. Not sure if they do custom little gifts or figurines, but you should definitely reach out and ask. The Swallow Association usually does whatever you request based on what you agree on. Not sure about others, maybe check with a local nonprofit for the deaf...
I was a maid of honor a few years back, and honestly, nobody gave me anything. It’s just not really how we do things out here in California, especially around the coastal areas—it’s not common to give gifts to the parents or the wedding party. Maybe you see that kind of stuff in rural parts of the Midwest, but not here. For that reason, I’m definitely not planning on giving any gifts myself. 🤷 My future father-in-law actually brought over some gold when his family came over to our place for lunch, and I had absolutely no clue. I wasn't expecting it at all.

I think that spot in Grašac is absolutely wonderful, though I honestly can’t say for sure when you were planning on heading over there for a bite, because whenever I gave them a ring about two months ago, they told me they only had two openings left between September and October. If you're looking for somewhere else, Doli is lovely, and that restaurant Velum over at the marina is also a great choice. I’ve heard people raving about how perfect their frappes are down by the docks, but then again, I haven't actually made it down there myself yet—I'm just going off the grapevine!
What are the prices like at Graves? I've heard tons of awesome reviews from people who had their weddings there, but I don't know anyone who actually hosted a full reception to give me the real scoop on the costs.🙂
BTW, question for everyone—is it too late to reserve or find a venue for April or May? Hit me up with recommendations ASAP if you know of anything available that isn't some total redneck setup; I definitely want something with actual class.😁 I mean anywhere from Tampa to San Diego.🙂

It’s about footnotes. Everything is working perfectly except for one specific part. On this page, I've got a song title, and then the lyrics take up the whole page over two lines. Here's the deal: if I put the footnote on the song title, the entire body of the song jumps to a new page, leaving me with nothing but the title and the footnote at the bottom of the first page. But if I try putting the footnote at the start of the lyrics instead—everything stays where it should be, but the footnote itself breaks! It creates that little separator line at the bottom, but it only goes halfway across the page, and then the actual footnote text splits into two lines.
How do I make this footnote look just like all the others in my document? I need it to sit at the bottom of the page and stretch across the full width.
I just ordered something via COD (cash on delivery). I’m a little worried it might show up before I get home. Can my roommates at the apartment just skip paying for it and tell the driver to leave it at the local Post Office instead? Also, how long will they actually hold onto it there before they send it back?

I watched the first one (a couple times) and it’s honestly one of my all-time favorite comedies, and I’ve seen a ton of movies 👍
Even though I’m usually not a fan of sequels, I was still super hyped for this second part. The sequel is solid, but let's be real—the original is way better. Even the cinematography in the first one felt sharper. That said, there are some good laughs in here 😁—though personally, I thought there weren't nearly enough compared to the first movie. Still, it's a great pick if you're looking to kill a boring night. To me, the plot felt a bit watered down, stretched out, and predictable, plus it recycled some of the same jokes from the first film. What actually bugs me is the crowd that was at the theater last night watching 😬—someone would say something, and I’d be cracking up because I already knew where the joke was going, while half the theater stays silent, only laughing once the punchline finally lands. 😁 Obviously, what a 15-year-old finds hilarious isn't the same as what a 25-year-old finds funny, but that's totally normal (since it's August). 🙂
