Students these days generally struggle to connect two logical dots and reach a meaningful conclusion. If you ask me, the culprit is a lack of reading—and I don't just mean school assignments.
Egon is basically the Ghostbuster here, and he’s right—the word is dead. Reading matters; your vocabulary, your way with words, all of that can be mastered through books. We have to encourage kids to actually read; as an American English teacher, I’d lose my mind if I found out a student didn't read the assigned book and just copied some summary from the internet.
Like I said, we better get ready for the atomic age. The chain of command for activating nukes in Russia is gone. Does anyone actually believe those "briefcases" with the launch codes aren't already sitting in a bunker in Miami, right at the disposal of that Botoxed little man? If Hitler had an A-bomb, do you really think he wouldn't have used it? Whatever this 21st-century version of Hitler decides to do, that's just how it's going to go. Whoever survives will be the one left to tell the story..
People over at the White House are saying it wouldn't be the brightest move for him to suddenly decide to visit those annexed territories while the fighting is still going on... And honestly, that says everything you need to know about him.
Midzet claims we’re going to end up hungry, stinking, and broke. Until yesterday, he wouldn't even listen to the idea of negotiations, but apparently, his tune has changed today: "I am calling on Ukraine to enter negotiations, but I also emphasize that the citizens of Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson made their 'choice,' and that is no longer up for discussion," stated the Russian leader.
I suspect he'll find himself backed into a corner very soon....

Are we really talking about columns that even the Americans themselves have already denied?
Basic logic dictates that if resources are dwindling, wars over them will increase. It doesn't work the other way around.
It is truly fascinating how people, blinded by their own perspectives, fail to see that an international order of this type is finished, and that pure cowboy diplomacy will become increasingly prevalent across the globe.
Where on earth are you getting the idea that resources are running low? I've been hearing since the 1970s that we only have about 50 years of oil left...
At this point, they should just sell the gas to someone else...
The pipes being laid have already been coated with anti-corrosion treatment, and the welds made by the pipe-layer are given an extra layer of that same coating. Since these pipes are designed to sit on the ocean floor indefinitely, the impact of corrosion shouldn't be much of an issue.
For Russia, natural gas is nothing more than a tool for blackmail; they couldn't care less who they sell it to or at what price. They are burning through massive quantities right now, but it’s all just a facade—they won't admit how much those sanctions actually hurt until it's too late. Their ultimate goal? To dismantle and subjugate a significant portion of the European Union. The underlying message is clear: this could easily happen to the Baltic pipeline next. Either lift the sanctions, or watch that one blow up too.

So, all of you supporters—the ones who worship at the altar of Putin and his whole neo-fascist ideology, those who basically make excuses for Russia’s fascist aggression against Ukraine—it looks like you've finally hit the "bargaining" stage of grief. I guess that's just how it goes..
You’ve already moved past the denial stage, I suppose. Now it's just one shock after another regarding the Russian Army's recent military blunders. It honestly felt like everyone was just waiting for that inevitable moment when the Russian forces would start retreating in a panic ahead of the decisive Ukrainian offensive. Maybe we all saw it coming, or maybe we were just too stunned to admit it. I don't know.
Now that you can't even convince yourselves anymore that the Russian military is some unstoppable force—all those claims about the Armata, the Su-57, or those supposed "unstoppable" Kinzhals... it’s all just nonsense, really—things have shifted. I mean, after what happened in Bucha and Izium, nobody can honestly look the other way regarding the criminal nature of this Russian aggression. It’s impossible to deny. And so, naturally, the excuses and the bullshit have started flowing in earnest. - But honestly, everyone’s really just the same in the end. I mean, you look at the Ukrainians and see criminals too, targeting civilians, slaughtering children... it just goes around in circles, I guess. Maybe it's all just one big cycle of the same old violence. They’re forcing minorities into mobilization, the leadership there is straight-up Nazi, and Zelenskyy is basically auctioning off Ukraine piece by piece. It feels like Russia is just fighting a war against NATO mercenaries at this point... in Ukraine. I don't know. Maybe it's all just a setup.
That’s just what they call bargaining, I suppose. That's all it really is. It’s really just that stage of recovery where you have to face the loss—specifically, losing those sickly little illusions about Mother Russia. You know, that idea that she's this benevolent, all-encompassing force, somehow too kind for her own good, practically suffocating under the weight of her own desire to spread goodness to everyone else... I guess it's more like a delusion than anything else. Maybe. But we're getting there, I suppose.
Appeasing criminal, aggressive regimes has never actually brought peace in all of human history. I mean, looking back at how things usually go, it just seems like a losing game. Maybe we like to tell ourselves it works, but I guess history says otherwise. It’s always just a temporary pause before things get even worse. Never. Not in a million years.
Well said. Now their new mantra is that the West wanted war at any cost just to avoid negotiations..

Lola 27 Kazati: Some random idiot on a message board is now out here trying to scare people with talk of nuclear strikes.🤦 Instead of de-escalating the situation and preventing panic, you’re doing the exact opposite. Why? What on earth is the point of that?🤔It's not like you can just pack your bags and head off to Australia right this second.☕ Some guy named Marinko Ogorec.
A pro-Russian sandwich dropper. That's basically what the majority over there are.

Neither America nor the EU attacked Russia; if anything, given our energy needs, they would have preferred this never happened at all.
This is definitely the most significant update yet: The first response from China has arrived. According to Reuters, the US Department of State has called upon all parties to engage in dialogue and consultations to find a way to resolve everyone's security concerns.
"China's position regarding Ukraine remains consistent and clear," spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated during a press briefing.
