Hey there.

I was wondering if I could switch from Kaeli to vividcrane2 instead? Provided it hasn't been snatched up already..
If that one's gone, would khalla or kylee be available? Thanks in advance. 🙂

You can go with Khalli/khalli; just reach out to unknown to finalize it.
It seems most of you here have been in long-term, monogamous relationships with pretty limited partner counts, but... I’m definitely not one of those people. I’ve had quite a few partners in my past, though always I made sure to practice safe sex; I never engaged in risky behavior. So, who am I to blame? Well, obviously, I'm the one at fault here. I don't know. I've faced so much judgment from the people around me, and... 🤷At first, I actually felt repulsed by anything involving sex—I think I mentioned that in another thread—but then I hit this phase of pure regret. I found myself wishing I'd just slept with even more men since it felt like I was destined to contract unknown anyway. It's a foolish way to think, looking back. Now, I'm actually relieved to be in a monogamous relationship for over two and a half years and to finally trust my partner. His tests for unknown came back negative, and he's the only person I've ever been intimate with without a condom, and even then, only after we'd been together for a year. I'm still struggling to process all of this; maybe my sexual history plays a role, or maybe it doesn't. Perhaps it’s just my immune system, which is practically non-existent to begin with. Who can say? 🙄All I know is that I've asked myself, just like all of you have (and I still do): "Why me?"

I see Dr. Pršo has been suggested on this thread, but I was wondering if anyone else has recommendations? I really want to weigh all my options before making a move. Honestly, I’ve been pretty let down by my current dentist—she isn't based in Seattle, so no worries there—and now I'm looking for someone who actually knows what they're doing. I'll be getting my braces off soon, so I'm going to need a full overhaul: probably some restorative work, definitely sandblasting, polishing, a deep cleaning, and referrals for wisdom tooth extractions (they haven't even surfaced yet, which makes things complicated 😁), and so on.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!!

Feel free to shoot me a DM too! Thanks! 🙏 🙏

Hello there. 🙂

I see Dr. Pršo has been suggested on this thread, but I’m wondering if anyone else might have recommendations? I really want to weigh all my options before making a move. To be honest, I’ve been quite disappointed with my current dentist—she isn't based in Seattle, so no worries there—and I’m looking for someone who actually knows what they're doing. I'll be getting my braces off soon, so I know I'm going to need a full overhaul: likely some restorative work, professional sandblasting, polishing, a deep scaling, and probably referrals for wisdom tooth extractions (they haven't even fully broken through yet, which makes things complicated 😁). Basically, I need a pro.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!!!
Is this a disorder? in Psychology & Therapy ·
stormymason5 said:Honestly, I wouldn't go as far as calling it a severe disorder. I feel perfectly fine in my everyday life; it's just that this specific thing has started getting under my skin lately. Because of that, I don't see any reason to go see a shrink.

I'm definitely not seeing a psychiatrist; I don't think my situation is serious enough to warrant that kind of help.

For the sake of the discussion and... general nonsense. Let's put it this way...

To clarify your point: most people effectively have stinging nettles running through their veins, but it's perfectly normal not to feel them. However, you *do* feel them, and that isn't normal. Do you get what I'm saying? Are you going to see a psychiatrist now? Or at least a GP so they can refer you to a specialist?👍

then we aren't talking about a disorder anymore—we're talking about insanity. 😕
Are you actually telling me it feels like you have stinging nettles running through your veins? ☕?
Why nettles specifically? And how do you even deal with that much burning? From what I know, even a glancing touch from a nettle is like a hot iron, not just a light prick.

Just tell us you're joking. We'll let you off easy if you do. 🤣

I have to agree. This is either a textbook case of a severe psychological breakdown (I'm no expert, but it looks a lot like schizophrenia) or some world-class trolling. Either way, go see a psychiatrist... 🙄
