Oh, they definitely are. 😁

Haha... That's exactly what I'm talking about! 🤣 Honestly, why would anyone swear by something like that? It's just sad... 🤣
http://sportska-tv.com/darquo/ — catching the game with my favorite commentator. 😁 Honestly, a game just doesn't feel like a real game unless I'm listening to him... 😁

Nico... anyone there? Did someone let the techs know it's acting up again? 😢
Skipping posts in Forum Help! ·
Definitely. 😁 It’s not just in the chat rooms, either—there are plenty of threads out there that get hit with rapid-fire replies...

Ahahaha...🤣 You actually pulled it off, damn. 😁

We know the deal. ☕ They already came out once to fix it, and they did the job, but clearly it wasn't a permanent solution... 😳

It stays in your clipboard until you highlight some other text and copy that instead. Basically, once you copy something new, the old stuff is gone... simple as that.

And regarding the quote above—you just need to add the closing tag at the end—.

Honestly, it's like you aren't even reading what people are telling you...

🤣

Well, if you really want to, go ahead and retype every single number one by one... 😁 If that gets too exhausting for you—and it might—here’s a quick copy/paste workaround so I'm not just wasting my breath. 😁

Just highlight the section you need by clicking and dragging your cursor over the text you want to grab.

In your case, you'll want to grab that part inside the brackets at the start of the post. Include the brackets too, just to be safe.

Once that bit is highlighted, find the "ctrl" key on your keyboard, hold it down, and hit "c" at the same time. It's much faster than manual typing.

After that, go to where you actually want to put the text, click there so you see that blinking vertical line, then hold "ctrl" again and tap "v". That's the shortcut for pasting.

Once you've copied something once, you can keep pasting it as many times as you need.

P.S. Honestly, I kind of wish you were just trolling me... 😁

Hey, you actually nailed that last one. Now, just hit edit in the bottom right corner and take a look at how you set it up—do it exactly like that for every post moving forward...

Man! 🙂 What are you even doing? 🙂

A single quote only uses one code. The code is what’s inside those brackets—it's split into two parts, one before the text and one after.

There are basically three ways to do this:

1. A plain quote without a name—the code looks like [ quote]. To make sure it displays correctly, just remove the space I put between the first bracket and the word quote. That gives you this:
text

2. A quote with a name, but without referencing a specific post—the code is [ quote=Nicholas Williams7]. Again, to get it right, you have to ditch the space between the first bracket and the word quote. Here’s how that looks:
Nicholas Williams7 said:text

And 3.—what you’ve been struggling with... the one that just won't click—is a quote with both a name and a post reference. The code is [ quote=Nicholas Williams7;post number]. Just remember to kill that space between the first bracket and the word quote. This is what it looks like (using your last post as an example):
Nicholas Williams7 said:I don't get how you're moving those big brackets used for the QUOTE tag. From what I can gather, you're supposed to shift them to the end of every single quote you want to reply to, otherwise you lose the actual text and just end up with a lonely "quote" label sitting there!

The little experiment I ran above is 🤦

Well, mission accomplished... the patient didn't make it.

You need one code for every segment you want to quote. One quote, one code... simple as that.

No. 🤦

Take a look at what I wrote above—the forum glitched and threw my post right over yours...

Man...🤣 How much effort does it actually take to just copy and paste the exact same thing? 🤣

I added some spacing to the first set of quotes just so you could see what the Code should look like—in the second set, I stripped the spaces out so the Code is properly formatted.

Looks like there are a few more of us who fell victim to the Reddit clock... 🧐

🙂

It’s fine that they’re posting later than when I actually put them up—it just messes with the order, so you end up with a reply sitting above the original post it was actually responding to... 😁

Sure, it’s not exactly a massive crisis—but when threads get this crowded, things just turn into a total free-for-all where nobody knows who's actually running the show... 😳
