I can't take it anymore... in Health ·
Honestly, if you want my take, just try eating smaller portions more frequently... honestly, skipping everything after 5 PM isn't going to do squat for you. It’s really about *what* you put on your plate—stick to lean proteins like chicken, turkey, or a nice lean cut of beef or pork... and I'd say just cut way back on the carbs, maybe even nix them entirely

Your whole diet should basically revolve around protein—think of it as a high-protein lifestyle... because if you aren't burning off those carbs through movement, they're just gonna sit there and make you gain weight (so get moving! walk, run, hit the gym, go cycling, rollerblade, whatever! just get up from that couch and chair!)

Instead of trying to cram three big meals in before 5 PM, I’d totally spread things out into five smaller meals until about 8 PM... the trick is not to overstuff yourself, or rather, keeping your meals light but frequent so your body stays fueled and gets all the nutrients it needs

Steer clear of greasy foods, sugar, and pretty much any other heavy carbs (except fruit!), so maybe skip the potatoes... and most importantly—you've gotta move your body!!!!

You have to tailor your diet to how you actually live; if you're super active and constantly on the go, you can eat more since you're burning it all off... but if you're more of a homebody, you've gotta scale back the intake, otherwise it just builds up and stays on you

Take my boyfriend, for example—the guy can polish off two chocolate bars a day... and he always makes sure to have half a pizza at least once a day! He eats everything and he eats A LOT... but he's built like an athlete and is strong as an ox! The secret is he runs, hits the weights occasionally, and goes cycling... he'll go for a 1-2 hour run every other day, and we go biking on the weekends.

Just get moving!

It’s simple logic, really—if you don't drive your car, you don't burn gas... it's just common sense!

Amy Lee18 said:Look, let's just be real for a second—smart people know when to play it safe and use condoms, because honestly, nobody needs that kind of extra stress in their life!☕

Look, I honestly feel like people who aren't really looking for anything serious should definitely stick to using condoms, you know? But when you're in a committed, serious relationship, I don't think it's necessary at all... it just totally kills the mood, and let's be real, they always seem to break or dry things out way too much, which makes the whole experience pretty mediocre. Personally, it’s actually kind of painful for me when we use them, and my guy ends up breaking them all the time too... but hey, I guess I'm just "too small" for him, if that's even a thing, though honestly, when we ditch the condom, everything feels perfect for both of us.

So, we’re basically talking about a relationship that's cruising straight toward that happily-ever-after finish line!

As for everything else, we just use condoms... I mean, that’s how we started out too, but honestly, we haven't used them at all for the last year or so!

It’s pretty much common knowledge that when you’re first starting out sexually, your body goes through all sorts of little adjustments and inflammations—some you really notice and some you don't... but honestly, you're basically introducing a foreign object into the vagina along with a whole bunch of external bacteria (I’m not even talking about STIs like chlamydia, just the natural stuff on the skin), so it makes total sense that it takes a bit of time for your system to settle in and get used to the new routine...
Female vs. male OB-GYNs: Any preferences? in Women's Health ·
Chris Robinson61 said:I actually have this amazing male OBGYN...
I went to see a female doctor once and honestly, I’m never doing that again—not because she wasn't skilled or anything, but just because the whole vibe was so incredibly awkward for me. Like, having a woman examine me? It felt weirdly intrusive, maybe that's just how I'm wired, but that feeling totally overrides everything else, I just can't deal with it.
I'm really not one for being touched by anyone except my man, but when it's absolutely necessary, I'd much rather it be a guy... preferably a decent one, too.

I'm pretty sure my husband doesn't feel the same way😍

I'm the exact opposite, though, because it feels so uncomfortable... having someone look at me and touch me when they're clearly a man! No matter what, if there's a guy involved, it's just different.😁

Chris Lopez59 said:just a quick side note here—do you actually think guys only pick up these things from homosexual contact, or is it more likely they're getting them from women too? 😉

it feels pretty unfair to pin the blame entirely on men when we're all stuck in the same messy situation...

What I mean is, most guys just don't bother looking after their health at all, and because of that, we end up dealing with the fallout about 80% of the time during our own checkups and treatments.

Why is that? We women are at the OB-GYN at least twice a year, getting checked out and actually fixing whatever pops up... whereas let's be real, that's definitely not how most guys handle things.

So, we're the ones doing the work to stay healthy, getting regular screenings and stuff, and cleaning everything up.

And then we’re all just sitting here acting shocked that like 90% of guys haven't even bothered to get checked for STDs... they honestly have no clue where to go for testing, it’s actually wild.

but hey, we'll be the ones stuck footing the bill for expensive lab tests at $500 once someone decides to pass something on to us.

😠
I honestly don't have any sage advice to give you, but hey, I'm sending nothing but good vibes your way regardless!

I just felt like I had to chime in, mostly because your username totally caught my eye 😍
