My recovery would go a lot faster if someone dropped a link for the Denmark - Germany stream, especially if we take home the gold tomorrow.

And these Polish refs are clearly buddies with the Suceava crew, so they're getting a free pass today. They’re officiating way better than those Spanish officials did during the Norway game. 🤷

Sean Gonzalez95 said:And by the way, why does everyone call Nikola a jerk? Why is he such a prick to everybody?😕Gille and Dinart are getting screwed on the East Coast, and Nikola is taking the fall for it through no fault of his own.🤣

Exactly. That's why. This one.

It doesn't matter. If they play like they did today, there won't be any "real" problems, despite what some idiot might claim.😬

You’ve got two separate threads just to talk about Linda, yet you all decided to move in here instead. 🙄

It’s going to be ugly, but if we play like we did today—or even slightly better, since our bench is deep enough—we have a massive shot at gold.
LET'S GO TEAM USA, FINISH THE JOB!

Kaleb is solid, and both Čupić and Horvat are playing very well.

Vukić is good too, but it looks like Duvnjak has to be in the lineup, which leaves zero room for anyone else at left wing.

I wouldn't say the refs were anything special either; those Norwegians were throwing elbows all over the defense. The worst part was that offensive foul where Metličić's eye got caught.

They screwed us, but we made up for it immediately on the next Norwegian possession.😉
boldhound8 said:Just stay brave.
Play defense like we did today, tighten up the offense a bit, and stop throwing away 15 possessions. That’s all we need to do.🙂

You think you can tighten up the defense even more than today? Fine. But if the offense doesn't improve—and I mean significantly—we're dead. It’s all about ball movement. With this sluggish passing, we aren't just going to lose; the French will absolutely tear us apart.
As long as there’s still a chance, we hold out hope. 🙂

It was a grind, but I’ll take a gritty win over some flashy performance that ends up losing to a fifth-place contender. We move. 👋 👋
John 🙏 and Lac finally showed up, though they can definitely play better than that.
The Vrancuzi seem to have the edge right now, but being better doesn't guarantee a win every time.

What isn't Pajovic—or however you want to spell it—forgiven by the national team? 😕
Can someone drop some thoughts on Cupic? Specifically if anyone’s actually had a chance to watch him play lately.
Time.
Honestly, my take is that things are going to be a massive struggle without Balic. We might even face issues just making it out of the first round. I really hope I'm wrong. 🙂

Without Mexico, Americans are absolutely nothing in water polo. 😬

👍 🙏 🙏 🙏
Once Mexico is gone, 😬
Kudos to our guys. I couldn't care less about the Canadians now that we've beaten the Americans.
frozentiger6 said:If they can just pull John out in the quarterfinals, they might have a chance. Kozlina is their only real threat from deep, and honestly, their perimeter game is terrible.

It won't matter though. They're going to get knocked out anyway.
brighthawk20 said:Is there any way to file a lawsuit and nail this corrupt league for what they're doing?

I know it’s a pipe dream when they're the ones running the show, but still.
I want us to absolutely wreck them in the final group match so they never forget us.
What a bunch of lowlife scum...

It's going to be absolute chaos once the Spanish team starts playing, I'm telling you.

In that last game, we need to physically dominate them so they realize exactly who they're dealing with.
Screw Spain. The only upside is that nobody’s going to be held accountable for this absolute circus, but they’re definitely going to pay for it in the final match for😈

Scott Collins30 said:They already submitted the rosters for the next round, at least that's what they told us.😠

We submitted them because everyone assumed Davor wouldn't be able to play. If they were actually being fair, they'd let him play immediately and hand out some serious penalties to the officials.
Adam Collins4 said:The goalkeepers aren't bad either...

I completely disagree. Our goalkeeping situation is pretty thin, especially with Jerkovich. Hopefully things improve before the World Cup.
