I’d actually prefer to strip my numbers away entirely. I’d also love for my handle to make it clear that I'm female, just so I don't find myself constantly having to clarify things in conversation.
Is it possible to change it to Betty Thomas8 ?
Sure thing, just reach out to Sash.

Look, people are inherently unrefined and primitive by nature 😁 and it doesn't matter if they're working a blue-collar job or holding three degrees and two master's—a jerk is a jerk. 🤷
I just hope you feel confident about your body now 😁... I know a woman who was so traumatized by her adolescence that she constantly wears oversized shirts and baggy sweaters. She always hunches over, doing everything she can to hide her chest... eventually, those attempts become desperate moves 😢 that actually make things worse than for the girls who wear low-cut tops and push themselves into everyone's faces.🤷
I get it, though the "blue-collar" types are easy to spot. (I'm not trying to insult laborers or anything; I just used them as a stereotypical example)
Since my physical appearance is something I inherited from my mother, and considering she dealt with significant trauma during her childhood—including two attempted assaults—she taught me some hard lessons. She told me there's absolutely no reason to feel embarrassed about shutting down an older man, even if I respect him as an elder, because that's how she was raised.
But honestly, if she hadn't shared those experiences and warned me, I probably would have been incredibly naive. Who knows? Maybe I would have fallen for the sweet talk of some older man, thinking it was flattering. But looking back, I don't think a relationship like that would have ended well for me in the long run.
That's why I say it: it's not that young women don't agree to these kinds of dynamics, but I suspect many aren't fully aware of what they're actually getting themselves into. That is why being a grown adult means having the clarity to see things for what they really are.

Oh, believe me, it’s all behind me now. I've come to realize that men are just like women—you find every possible variety of them out there. 🙂
Though, if it hadn't been for those experiences, my puberty and teenage years certainly wouldn't have been as unpleasant as they were. Seriously, try imagining some construction worker shouting catcalls at a thirteen-year-old girl and then tell me that's "normal" or that he's perfectly fine just because she happens to be developing early. Not to mention how terrifying and uncomfortable that actually feels for a kid.👎
Honestly, this entire thread has been getting under my skin more than I’d care to admit.
I hit puberty incredibly early; my body started changing as soon as I was in fourth grade. By the time I turned thirteen, I already had the silhouette of a grown woman, including a D-cup bust.
I never actually dated anyone older, but I dealt with an endless stream of creepy advances from older men who were clearly attracted to the fact that I looked mature. They didn't see me as a child at all, even though I very much was one, and sex wasn't even something I was remotely thinking about or interested in back then.
To make matters worse, those experiences left me with this deep-seated belief that men were only interested in sex and nothing else. It really took a toll on me, and for a long time, I found it nearly impossible to trust men in general.
Now, reading some of the comments posted by the men on here, I can't say I'm surprised that I grew up feeling that way.
On another note, I find the whole concept of pedophilia to be utterly pathetic—even in those cases where someone tries to argue there was "consent." To me, it just signals a profound inability to engage with an equal, an adult partner. Instead, these individuals seek out someone they can mold and manipulate to suit their own twisted needs.
And frankly, anyone who attempts to suggest that a child could ever maintain a relationship on equal footing with an adult is simply delusional.

For God's sake.
They talk about popularity, get crushes on cute boys, fight with their friends ten times a day over stupid stuff... basically everything that comes with a kid who has the body of an 18-year-old but a brain that's barely older than twelve.
I honestly don't get how anyone 18+ can sleep with them!
If I found out my sister was seeing some sleazy guy in his 30s, 40s, or even someone my own age, I wouldn't say anything to her, but I'd kill him.
Why?
Because a 15-year-old is a child. She doesn't know what she wants, she doesn't know who she is—she's a kid. She's easily manipulated, she's not thinking for herself, and then some horny, sick piece of trash comes along and destroys that childhood by exploiting her immaturity and naivety... It's disgusting!
One girl in her class is 15 and is seeing this 35-year-old guy who has a wife and kids. He's feeding her cheap thrills, she's fallen for him, and he tells her he's gonna leave his wife... I mean, what kind of man does that?
What kind of impact is that going to leave on her emotional life?
Same goes for female pedophiles.
Sure, a 14-year-old might hook up voluntarily with some 30+ slut, but what kind of woman is she?
Would she want that happening to her own son tomorrow?
There, I've covered the non-coercive side of things.
As for forced encounters... I don't even want to go there...
Gross, gross, and triple gross!
I couldn't agree more. 👍
No relationship is purely physical, especially not when children are involved. There is a massive difference between how adults experience intimacy and how a child perceives it.
And a fifteen-year-old boy is still a
child. Just because he's physically reacting to an older woman doesn't mean his mind is equipped for the complexities of a relationship with someone much older.
As for predators, regardless of gender, I believe they are deeply disturbed individuals, and I would happily see them locked away for a very long time.
Let me pose this question once more to the guys who seem to agree on this: for silentpilot6, Franooe, and placidranger, where exactly do we draw the line? Based on your logic, forty seems to be perfectly acceptable, but what happens if the woman is sixty or seventy? Or even forty? You all seem to constantly overlook the fact that not every older woman fits that narrow stereotype of a perfectly sculpted, youthful figure.
Just imagine for a second—what if tomorrow you discovered that a colleague, a neighbor, or perhaps a relative your own age was involved with your son? Would your reaction really be, "Way to go, son! You’re living out every teenager's wildest dream! Keep it up!"?
In my view, the gender of the perpetrator is essentially irrelevant. We’re talking about an adult here—someone who should possess far more maturity regarding sexual dynamics than their victim. Consequently, I find the argument regarding whether a child "consented" to be entirely moot. At that age, everything feels like an endless whirlwind of affection and infatuation. When a woman showers them with attention, it inflates their ego, making them genuinely believe they are in love. An adult is the one responsible for exercising rational judgment, not a teenager.
Ultimately, where do we draw the line to make such a dynamic acceptable? If a forty-year-old woman is considered fine, what happens if she's fifty, sixty, or seventy? At what specific point does the situation cross the threshold into pedophilia? Or is there no such point?
I firmly believe that these types of relationships are never appropriate under any circumstances.
Furthermore, if this is truly the "true love" that all pedophiles swear by, why couldn't that love simply wait for physical fulfillment until the child is actually ready—once they have reached sufficient maturity?
Perhaps this might be what you're dealing with?

I went back in early May 2009, yet I wasn't even scheduled for my initial appointment until November 26, 2009. 😲 In the interim, I tried to track down anyone who had gone through their program just to get a sense of what to expect. However, I couldn't find a single soul who had been there. I scoured the internet and posted on several forums, but to this day, absolutely nothing—not a word, nothing! 👎
It’s all starting to feel increasingly bizarre to me. ☕
And you're quite right about the referral; to get into the "Center," your primary care physician has to write a referral specifically for an endocrinology exam first. 👍
Good grief, that is just awful! A six-month wait!
As for that weight loss program, a colleague at work mentioned it to me. She was saying they design a complete diet based on your specific lab results and might prescribe certain medications if necessary. I didn't press her for details, so I'm not entirely sure if she was referring to Mayo Clinic or some other clinic altogether. I'll look into it a bit more deeply and let you know.
electricangler16 said:Helloooo, is there seriously absolutely nothing anyone knows about this???? 😕😕😕
I would suggest checking in with your primary care physician; from what I’ve gathered, they can actually issue a referral for those kinds of services.
I don't think you're going to drop dead over those $67, but you should certainly leave him a scathing review wherever you can—if nothing else, just to make sure nobody else falls into his trap.
As for this whole business regarding the harassment of his daughter on Facebook😲, I honestly don't see why you need to drag them into this. Unless, of course, your ultimate goal is to pick a fight with the entire family.😕
They aren't responsible for any of this, so there's really no reason to take your frustrations out on them. You have a phone; just call your mother or father directly.
That’s my two cents.
