So, my grandma just had surgery for breast cancer, and now she’s gearing up for radiation treatments. Does anyone here know for sure if an 8-month-old baby can be near her while she's going through this? I really tried to nudge her to ask her oncologist, but she’s just like, "Oh, of course it's fine," and didn't even think to bring it up. I've been Googling like crazy, and while some American sites say it's totally okay, then I stumble onto other English pages saying it might be better to keep some distance. It's such a head-scratcher, right?

Laptop cooling fan died
in IT Support ·
So, my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C55-A-1GT.
I honestly have no clue what it’s actually worth these days—probably peanuts, right? I think back when I first picked it up, it was around $1.25.
It probably isn't worth much now, but hey, it's all I've got, so it's precious to me!
I'm currently hanging out in New York City.
I'm feeling a bit lost on what to do here, because I'm terrified an authorized repair shop is just going to absolutely rip me off, plus I don't even really have a warranty anymore... I mean, I have the digital version in my email and that little booklet that says "Toshiba Guarantee," but I can't find the actual receipt anywhere, and since I bought the thing over two years ago, I'm pretty sure the warranty is long gone anyway.
And honestly, I'm also kind of scared to hand it over to some random technician who might mess around with it and end up making everything ten times worse.
A friend of mine actually offered to swap out the fan himself using some YouTube tutorials😁
but he did warn me that there might be some other underlying issue causing the trouble...
It always makes me think of that old saying about how trying to save a penny can end up costing you a dollar, you know?
Do you think you could give me some advice based on all this extra info? 😁

Hey there!
So, my laptop's cooling system has basically decided to go on strike, and I'm kind of freaking out about it. It keeps throwing these scary warnings at me saying the temperature is spiking and that I need to shut it down immediately and rush it to a repair shop before things get messy. To make matters worse, I can't hear the fan spinning at all—it's totally silent—and even a buddy of mine took a look and agreed that the cooling unit is officially toast.
The thing is, I've been reaching out to the authorized service centers, but they are being so incredibly vague! They won't give me a straight answer on what the repair might cost; instead, they just keep parroting the same line over and over like a bunch of broken records, telling me that it absolutely has to go through a formal diagnostic check first. Can you believe that?
Does anyone actually have a clue how much a fix like this is going to run me???
Also, does anyone have a good recommendation for a local repair shop where I might find a better deal without getting ripped off?
Or am I just better off biting the bullet and going to the official manufacturer's service center, regardless of how much they charge?

Gosh, you are just so incredibly complicated, aren't you?
Honestly, Michelle Evans is totally hitting the nail on the head here because, let's be real, people aren't actually sitting around obsessing over your diet or what's on your plate.
The whole idea that everyone is gossiping about your eating habits is really just a bit of a projection, isn't it? I hate to break it to you, but you aren't exactly the center of the universe 😉
I don't know, if you ask me, maybe you should just stay true to yourself and stop trying so hard to hang out with certain crowds, since I have a feeling they aren't even looking for your company in the first place.

Hey, do you think Lila Rubin could handle this?
Oh, for sure, just reach out to Tyndall and see what they say.

Dealing with bad cramps?

Jason Morgan said:Taking shots of whiskey is basically like doing cardio for me—it just ramps up the bleeding and the pain levels😬
Magnesium used to give me a slight edge if I took it before a heavy workout to stave off those nasty leg cramps the next day, but it’s doing absolutely nothing for this specific issue.
However, I did stumble upon a non-pharmaceutical remedy for fungal infections, and I figured, hey, there’s probably something similar out there for this too🧐 😁
Honestly, I deal with really intense period pains myself, and while I was scrolling through this thread, I came across your post, so I was wondering if you could please, please share that fungal remedy with me—or well, with all of us! 🙂🙂
Am I the only one to blame here?

Starting out sexually at such an early age can really mess things up and lead to all sorts of different issues down the road. I mean, it’s such a massive gray area when you try to decide if it actually counts as abuse or not, right? Does anyone else vividly remember that final scene from the movie >? It makes you wonder—was that situation pure abuse, or was she somehow responsible for what happened??
Honestly, looking back from where we are today, does it even matter what we call it? Whatever happened, happened, but the important thing is to go find a psychologist to talk to. And whatever you do, please don't just rush straight to a psychiatrist who’s just going to slap a prescription on you and call it a day.
