With all due respect, the show at the Madison Square Garden venue was practically over, and if The Flaming Lips want to take those visions—fueled by looping Pink Floyd in Pompeii all night long while they sleep—and manifest them somewhere else, then fine.

Meanwhile in Finland:

New Young Pony Club were actually high-energy, upbeat, and danceable—they’ve got three ladies in the band (the drummer, the keyboardist 😉 and the vocalist), a bassist who works with the Guild (Ntx was particularly stoked on the sound, even if it sounded way too cluttered to my ears), and a guitarist whose hair dictates he almost certainly has to be named Geoffrey or Basil. 😁 It was actually interesting, in a cheeky sort of way.

And then, we were hit with a dose of pure depression and bass so heavy it makes your clothes shake.
Massive Attack in its festivals Best. Period.
