Basil said:Since we’re already talking about dogs on this forum, here are my top five breeds:

1 Rottweiler
2 Saint Bernard
3 Newfoundland
4 Retriever
5 Wolfhound

(All big ones—honestly, I have a weakness for dogs with heads almost as massive as mine. 😁 )

While those folks clearly only care about sheer size, some people actually prefer a dog with actual aesthetic appeal:

1 Beagle
2 Black & tan English Cocker Spaniel
3 Vizsla
4 Kuvasz
5 Irish Setter😁

Am I totally off base here, or is there still some serious tension between them? They barely even spoke to one another, and considering how short the set was and the total lack of a closing number, I walked away with the distinct impression that they couldn't wait to get away from each other.

If you ask me, I’d describe it as "professional, but definitely not friendly"... 😢

Jonathan Anderson10 said:The album is solid, but compared to their debut, it’s just missing that certain spark—at least in my eyes. You don't get tracks like Jacqueline, taka me out, or Auf Achse anymore. Still, it's a good record, and I hope they keep this momentum going.

Well, of course it feels like it's missing from the second one—you can't exactly find those hits on the new record when they were all staples of the first! 😁

Look, I have nothing against the American or Danish brews—really, I don't—but for heaven's sake, you can't call yourself a true beer enthusiast if you aren't counting Belgian, German, English, Irish (and I mean the real stuff, not those cheap gin-infused imitations), and Scottish varieties in the conversation...

I mean, seriously... 🙄

stormyviper11 said:(whenever I step away from my exhausting, soul-crushing job patrolling the streets of Klikov)... 😁 🙂

Right. 🙂 They aren't doing that anymore. The guy basically went soft and traded it all in for a career in Playboy. Enough said. Now, if I recall correctly, he'll probably be busy tasting baby food and testing out diapers very soon... 😁

Maybe he’s all about those high-end, pretentious lounges while she’s strictly underground—or vice versa?
Or maybe you live and breathe music, but you can't go to a single show together because your tastes are worlds apart. You want to talk shop, but there's nothing to discuss... you rarely go out because he's busy grinding to some R&B track while you're sitting there rolling your eyes at the sheer mediocrity of it all.
Do you find it impossible to even consider someone a romantic prospect if they don't respect the same sonic landscape you do?

Been there—done that.
While I was spinning my usual rotation (check NPR and stuff like that), she was stuck on Matrona, Kojon Agli, Serem Dion, Frank Sinatra, and the like.
Slowly, she started picking up on the good stuff... though it took her a while to actually learn how to appreciate it. 😁
I dragged her to a few concerts of a certain caliber, and eventually, she realized I wasn't just trying to blow her eardrums out with noise 😁. Honestly, I think the Residents finally broke her—my brother and I would be losing our minds over some classic old-school set, and she’d just look dead inside—either from boredom or just pure lack of soul
. But hey, whatever, she's an ex now. 😁

Everything's fine now, though. 👍
