Thanks. Yeah, my bad, I messed up the wording—even the folks around here seem to trip over the terminology sometimes. So, the current diagnosis is definitely IBS. I need someone who actually understands what that means instead of just tossing antidepressants at him and calling it a day. He isn't crazy or depressed, he’s just dropped below 90 pounds and looks like a walking corpse. I just really need to help my kid.

My son was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel syndrome while he was traveling abroad based on some—well, not even all—of his tests, and honestly, we haven't gotten much else out of it. We're looking for someone here in the US, anywhere really. Private practice is totally fine too.

Same exact story here. When my dentist told me I was brushing way too hard, I swear I almost passed out right there in the chair. They put me on Orajel....for two weeks....and gave me a super-soft brush.

Every single person I ask seems to have never even heard of this happening... usually, everyone’s out here complaining about having low iron instead...

No symptoms, no illnesses, none of that stuff... just some minor discomfort in my gut, so I saw an internist who ran an Abdominal Ultrasound... he basically told me it was just a pocket of gas caught in a bend in my intestines... everything else looked fine... but he ordered some routine blood work just "so nothing slips through the cracks"🤷

As for how long it lasts or what the vibe is, honestly, that just depends on whatever specific issue you're dealing with.

And hey, they can even do surgery if things get serious enough.

My son actually had an operation done there about two years ago.

Look... I honestly can't recall the exact price tag... but it wasn't exactly pocket change, especially when you consider how well it actually worked.

My son is 17 now, but back when he was 15, we took him to see an orthopedic specialist to check out his spine (just to be clear, we went to this high-end private clinic in a small town to see a German doctor). During the exam, they suggested we pick up a corrective brace for pectus excavatum... honestly, nobody had ever mentioned to us before that even fixing that kind of thing was possible.

Anyway, long story short, we went to a specialized medical shop where they took precise measurements of him and had a custom brace built specifically for his frame.

He wore it for about two years, and man, it worked wonders... everything straightened right out. His chest looks completely normal now, and the kid has actually gained some muscle too. There isn't even a trace left of that weird protrusion that used to make him way too self-conscious to ever take off his shirt.

So, when are we actually getting those ticketseeeeee???????????????
