What kind of deformity are we even talking about here?
Is it Pectus Excavatum?
If that’s what it is, my kid is 15, and when we went to see a specialist at a private orthopedic clinic with Smith in Springfield, they actually recommended a chest brace for him...
It’s pretty basic—just a couple of straps and a small plate that applies pressure inward... you basically get to decide how much pressure to apply yourself.
They told us he’d need to wear it for two years (obviously, he takes it off to shower or during PE class at school)
Anyway, he’s been wearing it for about six months now, and honestly, you can already see an improvement.
We had to shell out for the brace ourselves since we went through private doctors—not that the doctors at the public clinics ever even mentioned this as a correction option, by the way—but it ended up costing us around $600-$233....
hollowhawk412 said:I shot my brother a text immediately saying Nelson Piquet definitely crashed on purpose, and being the die-hard Ferrari fan he is, he just goes, "Man, it looked pretty convincing..." ,but honestly, what FOX is reporting right now is a total joke...
Seriously though, there isn't a single outlet out there—not F1, not the FIA site, not even PlanetF1 or Autosport—that’s even hinting at this kind of news...
They really ought to ask where they're getting their info from.
FOX is reporting that the FIA is launching an investigation following those rumors that Briatore told Pike to intentionally spin out just to clear a path for Lewis Hamilton to move up through the field...🤷
EDIT: actually, scratch that... not FOX, it was CNN...😵
So I'm sitting here reading all this back-and-forth bickering you guys are doing... this guy against that guy... but let’s be real, the truth is Hamilton snatched it from Kimi just by cutting through that chicane .
Look, I don't really root for specific teams... I've been a fan of Kimi since he first showed up in F1, regardless of whose car he was driving... and I'm not exactly a huge Ferrari fan either... but Hamilton got exactly what was coming to him .
When he first entered F1, I actually thought he was a pretty decent guy... but overnight, he turned into this massive, bloated ego who basically threw away last year's championship through sheer, unadulterated stupidity... any sane person would have just cruised through that final race like they were out for a Sunday drive... but no, he had to go and prove how absolutely untouchable he thinks he is . And the absolute peak of this nonsense? That brainless move where he smashed two cars together in the pits... while the red light was still on... good grief 😕 .
I'm honestly starting to question his IQ at this point .
Your review looks $100, but if the UTZ shows anything, obviously the amount goes up... and if you don't have X-rays on hand... that number just climbs...🤷
But even if it’s the absolute best... it's still...
If he starts seeing flashes alongside that black spot, like little lightning bolts streaking through his vision... tell him to get straight to the ER. Seriously. If his retina starts detaching, he could go blind if they don't hit it with a laser immediately. I’m being dead serious here. It actually happened to my mom... she went from the emergency room straight into surgery.
Sometimes Lewis Hamilton just has these total lapses in judgment... first he blows a championship title because of some nonsense, and now we're seeing this level of stupidity that I haven't witnessed in at least a decade...
Honestly, we should probably make drivers pass an IQ test before they're even allowed behind the wheel next time.😠
Look, Kim is basically family to me... I'm only defending him because I care...😉
Anyway... I actually ran into him a few years back over in Manhattan while he was hanging out on the pier... he showed up on this absolutely insane yacht during his summer break...
redheron12 said:There won't be any penalties. Kim just exited too fast, was trying to dodge the pack, hit someone in the crowd—just one of those "racing incidents."
That’s just straight-up wrong... Kim was running red on his exit from the pits... seriously, what kind of alternate dimension are you living in???😲

In my view, it’s all about the timeline—the release follows an exponential curve where the concentration drops off significantly as time goes on. Old fillings aren't really off-gassing much of anything at this point; we're talking levels so low they're practically negligible. Unless, of course, you've got a mouth full of them. 😬
Yeah, they do leak a tiny bit of mercury, and over the years, things can start to loosen up, so you might quietly lose a tooth that's got an old amalgam filling in it. Trust me, I've been there...😢
Timothy Perez11 said:Dana Grant7 — where did you go to get those amalgams removed, and what was the actual process like?
Kimberly Doyle—did you manage to track down a dentist who actually knows how to handle this safely?
I had mine taken out by a private dentist out on one of our coastal islands. Honestly, the real struggle is just finding someone who uses those rubber dams to isolate the area. See, when you're grinding down amalgam, tiny particles fly everywhere, and there's a legit risk of them getting lodged in your gums. Even my dentist was wearing goggles and a mask. But if you aren't using a dam, it’s basically impossible to be safe, since the dam keeps everything covered except for the specific tooth being worked on.
Seriously though, guys... it’s pretty obvious most of you have never actually experienced anything real in your lives...
There are medical checkups out there that would genuinely make you want to pass out on the spot... yet here you all are, acting like getting blood drawn is some kind of life-altering trauma...🤷
