boldraven3 said:I have to share this with you—my last night at my local pub (right on my street) featured a playlist of all the greatest hits from this part of the world during the 70s and 80s, by my own request, of course. : D I told the owner—who I’ve known for years—that since I’m leaving tomorrow, could we maybe have a domestic playlist tonight? They usually just play foreign stuff, and I can listen to international music anywhere else once I arrive.
To that, he said, of course, and the evening ended up being quite something: he personally played a whole set on his guitar for the entire pub, then formally closed up and turned the key in the lock just so he wouldn't get fined for overstaying, which would be considered exceeding closing time here. :r ofl:
It goes without saying that the flight the next day was intense. 🙏
The old guard—there aren't many gentlemen like that left today...🥳 Except maybe me and Pece, but we don't really count anymore since we're retired—at least when it comes to the folk music...🤣

But if we're being honest—subjectively speaking, this could apply to America (corruption, a broken justice system), Canada (barely functioning protectorates), or even Mexico (a total madhouse). There are plenty of entitled second-tier citizens who would echo those exact sentiments regarding Americans leaving for Ireland or Germany, for instance.
And yes, that’s your take, but I have to point out that Russia never inspires you to be anything more than occasionally, vaguely agreeing that something is wrong there. If you blink, you miss it, just like what happened to me.
Anyway, here I am, apologizing. Not from the heart, mind you, but effectively, I was wrong.
Štob told Mujo: Uau!!1
What kind of sentence structure is that...🙏
Listen, auntie: life in the diaspora has nothing to do with what I wrote. The point is that I gave our Ivica Rus a blessing, even though I had previously criticized him for being a snob and a small-minded guy who wastes money on nonsense—like expensive perfumes.
Now he'll learn to live a bit more modestly, and more importantly, he'll have the chance to realize what is actually valuable in life. He won't be one of those losers complaining about a small paycheck because he can't afford to go skiing—I mean, he has the money for skiing, but surely he won't be using the exact same skis, gear, and armor as last year?
And you say "not from the heart"? Well, since you clearly don't know how to use which organ in which situation, I'll accept the apology along with some appropriate medical advice:
- More brain, less heart!🧐
(Sending that to you with a lot of attitude...)

It’s such a sanitized, half-baked way for today's youth to present themselves. 🤦 Is it really that difficult for them to actually say "anti-fascism" or call themselves "anti-fascists"? They seem terrified of using the full word, so they just truncate it and hope nobody notices the lack of conviction.
ANTIFActual, ANTIFAntastic, ANTIFAkers! (Or, if you want the plain English version: total frauds.) 😉
They are vague about everything, but when it comes to anti-fascism, there should be no room for ambiguity. 🧐
Give me a break. What these punks call "antifa" has about as much to do with actual anti-fascism as a chainsaw does with playing a guitar...🥱
