Imagine if Norris takes Sainz's seat at Ferrari next year... Honestly, I wouldn't mind that one bit.

Leclerc is telling Herbert that they weren't actually expecting such a strong qualifying performance.

Stoner handed Leclerc the tire he needed for his pole lap.🙏

There is just no way that’s going to happen—

Sainz is actually quite good; I suppose it's just a bit harder to find his rhythm early on with these new cars, and you probably shouldn't compare his qualifying times directly to Leclerc, who is just incredibly fast. I'm expecting him to be right in the mix for a podium alongside Perez tomorrow.

I think Perez might end up taking a penalty for ignoring the yellow flags, which would likely put Lando in P3. It should be really interesting to watch how Fernando, Sainz, and Perez try to fight their way past the Mercedes and McLaren drivers.🎉

If he’d stayed in a higher gear and dove deeper into the corner, things would have been different.

It reminds me of that old joke about trying to grab a hundred-dollar bill off a Ford dashboard while someone’s flooring it.

The G-force was just too intense.

Did I hear that correctly? One of the DRS zones has been scrapped?
George Russell is saying it's gone because someone filed a complaint. I wonder what Lewis thinks about all this... or if anyone else does.

George Russell is claiming it’s gone because of some complaint, but what about Lewis? Or perhaps...

It turns out they've removed that longest zone located within the second sector of the lap.

Max Verstappen is having a tough time finding the right balance with his car during qualifying. For some reason, Sergio Perez seems to be getting much more out of his setup.

Alonso played it way too safe; he could have easily been in the top 3 and fighting for the win tomorrow.

That’s exactly how you miss out on a podium fight.
Alonso might pull it back, and honestly, so might Alpine.

Just one or two SCs and we'd see Alonso up there in the top three.

An idiot because his hydraulics gave out? This guy is pure cringe. 🤦

Raymond Anderson4 said:Max Verstappen is absolutely struggling with his car during qualifying. For some reason, Sergio Perez seems to have found a better setup than him.

Maybe it's because Perez is running a brand new front wing! That's gotta be it!
P.S. Way to go, Charles Leclerc! He’s been incredible this season, totally unfazed by the pressure...
It looks like Carlos Sainz is losing his edge, though. Hopefully, he can claw his way up through the field tomorrow.
Still, it’s just not right seeing one Ferrari going up against two Red Bulls.

Max is disappointing again, just way too many mistakes this weekend.

Can someone explain what’s going on with McLaren? They were stuck in the gutter during the first two races, and now suddenly we have Norris P4 and Ricciardo P7?

Speaking to Sky after the race, Norris mentioned the track layout actually suits their setup quite well.

Unfortunately, it looks like Sainz is losing some confidence, though he should hopefully make up ground during qualifying tomorrow.
Still, seeing one Ferrari against two Red Bulls just isn't ideal.

Wait, doesn't Max have a new front wing too? I didn't catch it during the broadcast, but looking at the replays now, he's sporting a new one as well. I'm not sure if he ditched it during Q3.

The Ferrari PU just doesn't have that same overwhelming dominance it showed during those first two races.

Honestly, I wasn't even watching closely, I was just listening to that stream with Palmer. That's how they reported it.
