Well, there you have it. People finally laid it all out, and I guess thatβs the end of the story.

Did we ever actually get around to talking about cherry strudel? Back home in Appalachia, we just call them strudlas, which honestly sounds way better.
As for spinach pie or potato pierogi, those are absolute perfection.

I already made one with cherries π mine turned out better; the dough was way more flaky π₯³ yours looks thick and chewyβyou clearly didn't roll it out properly π

Most of the time youβre pretty level-headed, but hereβs the one thing that always gets under your skin π¬

Hereβs the latest batch; honestly, the ones that actually look decent are massive files, and I just couldn't be bothered to sit there resizing them all.

I am honestly starving right now. Just sitting here, waiting for this loaf of bread to finish baking in the oven. π

homemade veggie rolls
all the photos are huge

William Thompson10, you're definitely in the wrong thread π
at least you actually know what you're doing when it comes to stretching dough

Give me a break π³ Iβm going to wash my hair and brush my teeth; maybe then I won't be so hungry π honestly, I'd much rather just order a gyro and have it delivered π

Man, does anyone else catch that? It smells just like freshly baked bread in here, that unmistakable, comforting scent.

I actually baked a loaf of bread myself, though I suppose half of it has already vanished.
I also whipped up some sauerkraut soupβyou know, that hearty, savory kind with cabbage, sausage, and mushrooms.
My son ended up polishing off two full bowls and about a cup and a half of the bread.

Hmm. Do you happen to have a recipe for that? It sounds quite delicious. π€

Don't mention it. I just wanted to add one little thingβif you really want to do this right, you need to use shredded sauerkraut. I'm not talking about some whole head of cabbage thatβs been sitting in brine; I mean that finely shredded, tangy stuff. It just makes a world of difference, I guess.
