Robert Cox46 said:Not a great race. I honestly don't get why that bot braked so early going into Turn 1.

They’re being a little much with this whole "best crowd in the world" thing. It reminds me way too much of those crazy crowds at the Daytona 500...

The race has been pretty dull so far. There haven't been any real overtakes on track, and the pit strategies haven't really shaken up the order in any meaningful way.
Aside from Valtteri Bottas and Daniel Ricciardo in the first round, we haven't really seen anything happen...

Honestly, unless Max gets a DNF or some kind of DNS, I don't see how Lujia stands a chance against him

That race was truly something else—a masterclass for those who actually know their stuff.

As for Lewis, he’ll be dreaming about that first corner for a long time; though, honestly, at this point, it probably feels more like a recurring nightmare than a dream.

Seeing the American flag up on that podium... man, it just never gets old. It’s always such a beautiful sight to witness.

Just imagine the absolute chaos at the end of the season. Max comes down with COVID-19, and then Lewis Hamilton—who’s basically walking around in a mask everywhere anyway—snatches the championship title 🤣

Kygo is going to be performing at the victory celebration—can you imagine how lucky those folks are?

Those turns before the first and second DRS zones make it incredibly tough to stay on the tail of the car ahead, which is exactly why Valtteri Bottas couldn't find any way past Daniel Ricciardo. Ricciardo is such a seasoned pro; he nails those corners every single time, leaving Bottas with absolutely no room to maneuver.

If COVID-19 hits Max, we are absolutely screwed.

Honestly, if Max doesn't pull it off in the USA, I guess even Lujia won't be enough.

That was a real race. For those who actually know the sport.

Twice, actually. All just to shave a point off Max...
Mercedes-Benz is definitely sweating this one

If Max hadn't dealt with so many DNFs—and if Perez didn't take forever to actually get going at Red Bull Racing—they probably would've swept both championships easy

I won't go so far as to say this was the worst race of the hybrid era, but honestly, I can't think of a single one that was more boring.

Mercedes is totally falling apart

Red Bull Racing pulled the same stunt with Perez at the Silverstone Circuit.

Honestly, if those tires had just held up that one time, he’d practically have one hand on the trophy already.

LH: If Sergio could stay so close to me, it just shows how much faster their car was."

That’s right, Lewis—keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep at night.

In the pure heat of the moment, I completely blanked on that silly rule—honestly, even Christian Horner seems to overlook it from time to time, so why should I be any different?

They really ought to just award points for PP.

Max Verstappen continues to be absolutely flawless, performing with the same impeccable consistency we have witnessed throughout this entire season.
Kimi once again demonstrated truly phenomenal race pace; it really is such a shame that he isn't currently behind the wheel of a more competitive car.

I find myself wondering, why on earth was Daniel Ricciardo not penalized for that collision with Valtteri Bottas?

I wouldn't really call that a clean hit. He locked up a bit, and Valtteri Bottas actually squeezed him slightly. The contact was tiny. It’s obvious Bottas was still pinned to the floor at that exact moment too, which caused that wheel spin.

Sergio Perez has been looking incredibly sharp over these last few races.

Pierre Gasly finishing 4th? You've gotta respect that move.
