All we've seen so far are those occasional, mild contractions—you know, the "false alarms." But those aren't the real deal yet. 🤷 That's pretty much all the info I can give you guys for now. 🤷

Honestly, you’ve probably been feeling it in your bones for days now, 😁 though maybe it's just the weather changing

Grace Anderson3 said:I’m getting checked every two days now; I had one yesterday and my next is tomorrow. The monitor shows contractions, but nothing's actually happening yet. 🤷 I’m tighter than a Rose castle. If things don't start moving by Saturday—a week past my due date—they’ll probably suggest an induction. I really want to avoid what happened to my friend; she went a week overdue, then they induced her, and she was in labor for 20 hours. The Baby was already too big and got stuck, so both she and the little one suffered before they finally rushed her into a C-section.
Haha, it starts and stops... 😬

The monitor shows some contractions, but nothing's actually progressing yet. 🤷 Honestly, I’m still tighter than a Rose castle. If things don't start moving on their own by a week after my due date—so, by Saturday—they're going to suggest an induction. I'm really hoping to avoid what happened to my friend; she went a full week past her due date before they induced her, then spent 20 agonizing hours in labor, only for the Baby to be too big and get stuck, which ended in a nightmare C-section for both of them.

Nicole Myers said:Grace Anderson3, you’ve got it wrong. Baby is going to handle this on his own. It’s only Monday. Besides, that date is just a rough estimate anyway; there's no way they can pin down the exact day for sure.
Most women I know end up delivering about a week ahead of their due date. There was just one outlier who went early by a whole month.
Everything’s going to be fine.

Maybe he's just waiting until Hans learns some American 🤔

I get it—it’s always just a rough estimate anyway. But I can back up those statistics suggesting first-time moms usually have longer pregnancies than those who've been through it before, though there are plenty of outliers in both camps.
Oh, I know, I know. 😍 But this little one is already pushing toward the 9-pound mark, so I'm genuinely wondering how much more room there is to grow... 😬
Maybe the baby is just waiting for Hans to master English first. 🤔
