How to find a Microsoft Word document on my PC?

I’ve got a mountain of Microsoft Word documents sitting on my computer and I’m trying to track down this one specific file. I have no clue what the filename is, but I definitely remember a exact sentence buried somewhere inside it.
I heard there might be a trick to hunting down a file using just a snippet of text, but honestly, I'm totally lost on how to actually do it.
Anyone out there know the secret?

I’ve heard that functionality is limited strictly to PDF files—it just isn't possible otherwise.

From what I gather, Microsoft Word actually lets you hunt down a specific word or phrase within a whole bunch of different documents at once

So, I’ve been hearing everyone rave about this Google Search everything program, so I finally pulled the trigger and installed it. I was trying to track down a specific document just by typing in a few keywords from the text
The thing is, it *does* find the file, but only if I point it directly at the exact folder where that file lives
But that's not how I work! I need it to dig through all my subfolders too
I’m totally stumped because I definitely checked the "include subfolders" box, yet it still won't find anything
It’s doing the exact same thing with my photos—it just ignores the subfolders and sticks strictly to the main directory I give it
Anyone else out there using this tool who can help me figure out how to make it actually work?

Give this a shot; if my memory serves me correctly, it should contain everything you require.
That said, its performance is optimal when searching through Windows XP... you might want to grab a disc and pop it into a machine running Windows XP.
