Theyβre great π
And what about youβdid some lady finally catch your eye and drag you toward marriage? π

So, I finally started working in my field (knock on wood, I've been at it for a month now), so my free time for going out is pretty much non-existent. Honestly, I feel like Iβm heading toward a solo lifestyle where I won't be chasing relationships or marriage. You have to be real with yourself, and the truth is, I'm just not cut out for the whole marriage thing. π
On the flip side, though, Iβd probably make the best uncle in the world π (not to brag or anything). π

Congrats on the new jobβitβs good to see things finally falling into place for you. π
From what I can tell, you seem like marriage materialβgood-looking, hardworking, well-raised... nothing really missing there.
Unless, of course, you're some kind of player who's cycling through someone new every week, though I suppose you don't strike me that way. π

I haven't been wandering off; I'm loyal.
Quality over quantity. π
Besides the things you listed, there are plenty of other drawbacks on my end (like living in a place where people get wasted at backyard chicken parties π€¦ and loving it here π΅), so when you do the math, Iβm not exactly winning any awards on the dating market. π¬
I'm basically the Tottenham Hotspur of the dating world; you only end up with me if none of the top-tier teams were available. π€£

So, you're actually doing alright then π
You claim to be the favorite uncleβwhich I suppose means the kids actually like you π
I have no idea why I assumed you were an only child π³

Who wouldn't want an uncle who takes you to the game, shooting practice, jet skiing, or horseback riding, followed by pizza and ice cream? π
#168 ·
I suppose Iβd love that too π
Drunk chickens? π€£
Thatβs a new one for me π so, I guess the downside is just not wanting to live in the city?
Even if they say itβs all about romance, nature, peace, fresh air, and drunk chickens π

Look, weβve got this guy who has an incredible story involving his vineyard and horse racing; heβs been on TV for about ten years now. I was just saying recently how his hard work and passion really put our neck of the woods on the map. Then, out of nowhere, a couple of drunks from the local soccer club go and spread rumors about the place like wildfireβeven the news outlets from the next town over picked up the nonsense :facepalm. Itβs not even something to be proud of; itβs just embarrassing. π
Love is everywhere everywhere π€£
Yeah, generally speaking, it's a downside because I prefer rural living over urban. I've lived in both, but I'd take a small town or a quiet suburb over a massive city any day.

A total clusterfuck. π
God, poor little thing π³
I guess she made it through all thatβunless they just tossed her on the grill afterward. π³

Honestly, I still don't know if the chicken actually survived. π³
Anyway, the actors were hauled in for questioning the next day. Total idiots, the lot of them.

Drew Ross2, I'm heading out. I'm beat, so I'm going to crash early since I have to be up at 6:00 AM.
Take care! π

Anyway, the culprits were hauled in for questioning the very next day. Absolute buffoons, the lot of them.
These guys take the cake. They're even worse than that guy I know who ended up on CNN because he decided to punt a chicken off the field during a game.

Don't even ask what kind of chaos today has been π
Between a pediatrician appointment with the baby, hitting up the butcher since weβre grilling tomorrow, swinging by the farmer's market for strawberries, and then a trip to the park with the kidsβfollowed by ice cream, of course.
Cleaned the house this morning, so now I suppose I have to figure out lunch.

The house was spotless this morning, but now I've got lunch on the stove.
I'm speechless. You've basically become the ultimate old-school homemaker. Here is a little something to help you level up even further.
