A very sad movie.. that role by Sonja Savic where she loves a man and wants to spend her life with him, but then due to a series of unfortunate events, she's forced to marry someone she doesn't even love. She spends her whole life suffering because she isn't with the one she actually wants, eventually turning to alcohol to cope... plus this guy getting beaten up and all that.
Just a depressing movie.

I've never really been a fan of those old Western tropes involving Native Americans or cowboys.

Since we're on the subject... one of the key actors in this thing is just completely out of his mind—total chaos, yet somehow acting totally normal. He's my old uncle 🙂

I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone could actually sit through this garbage series.

Every single character in that story deals with a tragic fate, but I don't think that takes away from how good the film actually is.

This thread just wouldn't be complete without mentioning Sergio Leone's masterpiece—it doesn't matter if you love it or hate it, one of those characters basically defines the whole "larger than life" archetype.
It’s such a gem... did you know Clint Eastwood actually brought his own prop from home for this one? Just found it in his attic, I guess. It really puts into perspective the kind of shoestring budget they were working with while making one of the most iconic films in history.

The entire trilogy is unbeatable—especially that soundtrack.
