I got hooked by Bomb, and man, I have to say, it was a total bullseye. It's perfect if you're into deep dives regarding drug cartels, smuggling operations, and systemic corruption. It's based on true stories involving Pablo Escobar, the Medellin cartel, and the Cali cartel—plus the plot moves over to Mexico to follow Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, the notorious Mexican kingpin often called el Jefa de Jefes or The Godfather.
Basically, once you start, you won't be able to look away. 🙂

Top-tier series.

This movie deserves a 9.5, not some pathetic 6.8.
Look, I don't usually go for dramas—I've sat through hundreds of them, believe me—but this one is on a different level. It’s fundamentally different from anything else out there. If actual love exists in cinema, it's right here, even if it doesn't end in a fairy tale.
It's a masterpiece being insulted by IMDb ratings. Honestly, it might be one of the greatest films ever made.
That final scene? Combined with the soundtrack? Some of the best stuff ever put to film. Period.

Honestly, this movie deserves a 9.5 rating, not some mediocre 6.8.
I’m not usually one for dramas—I’ve sat through hundreds of them, let's be real—but this one just hits different. It’s unlike anything else I've seen, and if true love actually exists in cinema, it's captured right here, even if the story doesn't wrap up with a neat little romantic bow.
It feels like a total masterpiece being overlooked by IMDb, and honestly, it might just be one of the greatest films ever made.
The final scene alone, combined with that soundtrack, is easily some of the best filmmaking I've ever witnessed.

I'll have to look into it more deeply.

I can't stand Craig.

In my personal opinion, this is hands down the greatest scene ever captured in the history of cinema. Period. Go ahead, try to tell me otherwise.
It's right up there with that moment when he wrote her "wait..."—proving he hadn't forgotten his old flame.

Old school San Francisco, man. Pure, gritty romance.

👍

The acting—every single person involved—was absolutely stellar. Truly powerful stuff. There wasn't a single moment where I felt like I was watching an actor perform; it was far too convincing for that. It’s the kind of immersive storytelling that pulls you right into the middle of the action, making you feel as though you are living through the events yourself.

Where on earth did Gdes pull this one from? It's like some old Hollywood legend dug this up!

To me, it’s just Logan’s escape and that whole genre of movies. People used to be so much more imaginative back then; you don't need massive budgets or multi-million dollar CGI to make a killer sci-fi flick.

It's all about the idea, man. It's all about the idea. 👍

This thread can’t exist without mentioning Sergio Leone's masterpiece. Good, bad, or ugly—it doesn't matter. One of those characters even inspired the vibe in massive blockbusters like Avatar. It's pure cinematic greatness.
A total rarity, too... Did you know Clint Eastwood actually brought his own prop for this movie? He just found it in his attic. That's how low the budget was for one of the most iconic films ever made.
