Any Mexican/American subtitle translators here?

I picked up some animated movies that have Mexican subtitles, and I’m looking to convert them into American English.
I am. on this page I finally tracked down that highly recommended "SR2HR-translator" software.

I converted a few subtitles, but the encoding went completely haywire and messed up all the letters.

The letter Z turns into a D.
Replacing Ć with Ä.
C replaces Č.
Z converts to Z
The character Š turns into Å¡.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue, or can someone recommend a different American translator?

Just a heads-up, you’ll want to make sure the original title is set to ANSI before you go through with the import process.
