But... someone from Cleveland... they’ve got a piece of my heart. Not just anyone though. Just some tiny little town, a total nothingburger. And I wouldn't go for a Californian either. Actually, wait. Yeah, sure. Whatever.

I spent two months out there and honestly, it was awesome.

VZh and KC are definitely the best cities in the US to live in..

Just chilling on the couch with a hot coffee, thinking about how much I can't wait to get back to the beach! 😍
What about you? Are you already dreaming about your lunch? 😁

Bingo, I was actually just thinking about lunch 😁

Edit: Why on earth are you so excited about getting back from the coast? 😲
Personally, I could stay away until the end of summer and not feel a single bit of regret 😁

I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I should actually cook today.
The weather is acting like it’s mid-April or something; it just refuses to actually warm up properly.

I could honestly stay there all summer and wouldn't mind at all. 😁

I'm looking forward to seeing someone special. 😍
Though I really should head back to the coast a few more times.

What's on the menu today? 😁

The weather feels like late autumn; it just won't warm up properly.

It hasn't even felt like typical summer heat around here lately.
Our AC is basically working overtime.

So, what are you leaning towards making?

And honestly, I probably need to head back to the coast—multiple times, if possible.

So, what's on the menu for today? 😁

Even here in the States, we aren't exactly dealing with typical summer heatwaves right now.
The AC is working overtime just to keep things bearable.

Where exactly are your thoughts heading with all this?

Today, I've decided to tackle a recipe I've never actually attempted before, so wish me luck. It’s some sort of cottage cheese goulash—basically little cheese-filled meatballs.

And I really ought to head back to the coast—more often than I currently do, I suppose.

What's on the menu today? 😁

That’s actually quite nice. 👍

Pasta with broccoli and ricotta. 👋

I'll hold you to that—if it actually turns out well, send over a photo. I'm curious to see what this dish is all about. 👋

As for us today, we're just picking at some leftover fried chicken from yesterday and some couscous tossed with sautéed veggies.

Hey Drew Ross2, here’s the recipe along with some photos
And if I actually manage to pull this off without making a mess, I’ll be sure to post my own pictures too.

The recipe itself is pretty straightforward, I suppose. The real headache is nailing the exact consistency of the dough.
It’s probably just a matter of getting a bit of practice in.

The recipe is pretty straightforward. The only tricky part is getting the dough consistency right.
It just takes a little practice.

They're basically just dumplings 🐔

rapidtrucker78 said:Those things look like some kind of weird little dumplings, I guess. Maybe? Just looks like a pile of doughy lumps to me. 🐔

It’s basically the same concept, really, just on a much smaller scale. Think of them more like bite-sized meatballs rather than full-on dumplings. They're essentially little spheres instead.
And they have a much thicker consistency, too. I guess that makes sense, though.
In the States, if you're looking at something like a dumpling, it usually ends up looking like a massive hunk of white bread—either boiled straight in water or maybe given a quick steam. I guess that’s just how they roll. 😍
