Nah, not quite. I’ll probably jump in there in about two hours. Right now, I’m just hanging out on the patio, catching some rays and chilling. 😁

It's actually really calm right now, perfect weather for a swim if the water isn't freezing cold.😁

Every single morning, dropping the kids off at daycare is nothing short of a full-blown soap opera. It’s just constant sobbing and desperate pleas for me to come back and get them immediately. But then, if I actually try to be proactive and pick them up early, I get grilled by my wife for being too eager—apparently, she wants them out there playing in the yard longer.
Is this some kind of twisted daily ritual, or am I just losing my mind? 😁

Man, it’s getting way too hot out there. It feels like walking into a humid, sweaty pizza parlor in the middle of July. 😂😁

Deva, go ahead and get soaked for me too. 😬
I’m all in. Honestly, I just got back from a quick soak in the lake—it was absolutely perfect, honestly one of those days where the water is just right—and the first thing I did was grab some salt for my food. Nothing beats that feeling.

Is this just how it goes? 😁
Standard operating procedure for daycare.

Is this just a normal part of parenting? 😁
I honestly have no clue; I don't have any kids of my own, so I have to admit I'm pretty indifferent to all of this.😁

Is this, like, normal? 😁
I always tell my girlfriends the same thing when they bring up stuff like this—it's probably because you were honest about how much that doctor visit hurt, right? They just laugh and give you that look, you know? Like, okay, fine, hate me then.

Fine... I suppose. In the mornings, they’re absolute wrecks—totally stressed out and would much rather just stay home. But by the afternoon? They’re all smiles. I spend an hour or two listening to them recount every single thing they did and how "amazing" it all was.
wiredfox said:Look, I don't have kids, so I have to admit—I couldn't care less.😁
Well, you might want to start gathering some experience if you ever plan on having any.

Respect! 😁

it isn’t always easy being me, I mean, my filters glitch out all the time, but people really seem to love me anyway😁

By the afternoon, though, they've brightened up, and I'll spend an hour or two just listening to them recap everything they did and how great it all was. Nope, I don't think I'll be looking to gain any

Buy some flowers for your wife, sure—but don't forget to grab a little something for yourself too.
