I suppose I should clarify—this isn't just about one moment; it’s about the entire trajectory. It's like watching a slow build in a classic noir film—you see the tension mounting long before the actual payoff occurs. One can't simply jump to the conclusion without respecting the process that led us here. says:
Everyone here evaluates themselves with absolute precision—which is really just the textbook definition of subjectivity.
Sure, beauty standards vary wildly from culture to culture. I mean, you have certain tribes out there that might consider being overweight to be the ultimate ideal of beauty...

There are tribes out there that sharpen their teeth.
And let’s be honest—if she isn't the type of girl who takes up half the sofa with her curves, you might as well skip the wedding entirely. 🤣
It turns out there are actually people who have a taste for the gallows.🤔

Just a quick suggestion for the next poll.

Sent from my smartphone via Reddit

Go ahead and start a new thread. 😁
How would you rate your own intelligence—on a scale of 1 to 10?🤔
I am still waiting on an update regarding the status of this matter—it seems everything has ground to a halt. [User123] says:
She gave me a 2.5. Honestly—it looks like that’s the only grade I’ve ever received from anyone. ☕

I’d give that a 2.5—let’s round it up to a 3. She genuinely thought you were a decent guy. Then she went ahead and called you an incel. 😲

I remember one time I was basically accused of being gay out of nowhere. Like, it was just an entire vibe—the clothes, the phone, my face... everything about me was apparently just "gay" that day. 🤣

By the way, I had no idea you were out there showing your private life to all these random forum users 🤣 I honestly assumed you were going to keep your identity under wraps or something, so I suppose it’s no wonder you ended up being such a joke

p.s. That’s my arithmetic mean for all grades received so far (granted, I've only had one). I've proven myself to you, Duke, Sarah, Kitty, Hannah, Bell, Nick, Infinite, ... Who else do I need to impress before you consider me "proven"?

It's biased because they love human flaws and imperfections; they'd probably give me a higher grade. And don't go wasting your Joker on your own self, who knows when you might actually need it.☕

...I don't follow. ☕

ps..you can't calculate an arithmetic mean with just one data point.☕
Does appearance change along with bias? Was she biased during the first grade?🍿

I also don't get what "Joker *himself*" means.☕

pps..I thought I wasn't allowed to say you'd proven yourself to me.🙂

Pretty much everything except the color; it was actually a bright red Chicago Bulls jersey—you know, the ultimate hyper-masculine look for us athletes.

If he’s supposed to be the same guy as Panther based on that avatar, I don't know. He lacks those sharp, defined jawlines and just has a longer, chubbier face shape. There is just no way that's the same person at eight.

I don't buy it. Being showered with compliments doesn't actually build confidence—it just fills the void where actual confidence should be.
Real, genuine self-esteem comes from within. My theory is that your parents essentially build that foundation while you're still a kid.
If they dropped the ball back then, you have to fix it once you're an adult—either through actual self-work, or by chasing compliments, or maybe a bit of both.

By the way, bluebadger112, you’re being a bit of an idiot here.

Not quite yet, though it seems like every media outlet out there is singing its praises—apparently, not a single episode has fallen below a 9.2 rating. I’m actually just finishing up Tiger King right now since I’ve been on a bit of a documentary binge lately, so I suppose Jordan is next on my list. Though, I should mention, the jersey I grew up wearing was actually a Derrick Rose one, rather than from the era they're highlighting in this doc. 😁

True, real confidence comes from within—but my theory is that parents actually build that foundation while you're still a kid.
If you missed the mark back then—look, you just fix it when you grow up—whether that's through actual self-improvement or just being better about giving compliments—or honestly, both.

Honestly, you're already sitting at over 2.5k—pretty solid stuff.

I think parents definitely should tell their kids they're beautiful—it’s just good for their confidence, honestly. 😳

Why the hell not?
I know plenty of people who never heard a single nice thing growing up—just constant negativity and insults. And honestly, it shows; they still see themselves that way today, along with pretty much everything else. ☕
I don't see why you wouldn't give them a compliment, especially if it's true. Or if they actually nail something? It’s definitely better than just being a constant critic and nagging them about every little thing. 😳

My folks never really gave me a pat on the back—not just me, but none of us, really. Like, is there some kind of official rulebook out there where I can point the finger at them? Because honestly, instead of building me up, they just left me stuck dreaming about who I could be instead of actually being that person.😬
