Well, my family is split right down the middle... half of them are from Washington, D.C. or up in Appalachia, and the other half are from the South—mostly Mostar and Western Herzegovina.

For me, that second half applies to a lot of things—including some roots tracing back toward Herzegovina if I look at our last names.
