The last time I felt like I wanted to take over the world and destroy everything! 🤦🏽‍♀️
Back then, I was just way too sensitive to all the negativity and garbage going on in the world

So, what exactly is missing from the mix now?
The thread really did hold so much promise...

Is there seriously nothing here?
At least grace us with some posts like these:

Entering perimenopause at 41 is a slow descent into chaos—I am absolutely dreading these changes. Mentally, it’s been brutal; the depression hits hard. As for physical symptoms, my cycle has been completely erratic over the last few months, and I get heart palpitations whenever I get worked up. I dealt with night sweats a few years back, which eventually passed—thankfully, no hot flashes yet—but now I'm dealing with tingling in my hands, which I assume is due to dropping estrogen levels.

I nearly threw a bag of pretzels at the cashier at Walmart today—honestly, if I were to write a novel about my sudden outbursts of aggression, it would be a bestseller. I loathe having these episodes in public, but man, was I pushed to the absolute edge. Everything just went dark for a second; I dropped the pretzels and stormed out, hearing someone shout "Ma'am!" behind me.🤣By the time I got home and stripped off my clothes, I realized what happened...🤦And there I was, wondering why I felt so ravenous and incredibly irritable.🤣
I’ve decided that for the seven days leading up to my period, I’m staying far away from crowds—especially places with long lines.
I also realized that if I cut out coffee, dairy, or sugar, I can barely even tell when the hormonal shift is happening.

Something strange happened to me—my breasts didn't swell, my skin stayed clear, and while I had a few pimples, zero cysts. However, I had significant abdominal pain and cramping about ten days before my period started. The mood swings are standard fare by now. I was fully convinced I was pregnant, but then my period arrived anyway. Is it possible this is just my body adjusting to being on vacation at the coast—maybe the climate or the change in environment?

I can relate to the first part of that last quote, but the rest doesn't mean anything to me.

I think my hormones are just wrecking me today. 🕺 Right at the 🕺

I feel bad for being such a pain earlier this morning; I guess I was just on edge and everyone decided to take it personally. 🕺

I really regret it now.

God, you change moods so fast, it's like you're constantly riding a hormonal rollercoaster. 🐔

Here is yet another period anthem 🐔
This one is quite explicitly about PMS—both the track and the video 😍

Perhaps we could pivot this discussion toward the topic of menstrual products...🍿

are you seriously using a measuring cup too? 🙂

Maybe 👋
Personally, I find those cups to be pretty awful 😁—I don't think they're particularly great for vaginal health.
My take is that menstrual blood should be allowed to flow out naturally, rather than being trapped inside the body.

Now, I'd like to hear from the pros, since these are just my own cons. 👋

I’m a huge fan of the menstrual cup because it’s made from 100% medical-grade silicone, which makes it way better for my lifestyle than tampons.

I just can't stand pads 🤮 specifically, I hate the feeling of blood leaking into the pad. 🤮

even though I do own a few cloth 😬

plus, with my cup, I can go out running, dancing, or whatever else I want without a second thought. 🙂

A scientific journal actually claims that glass expands over time.

Honestly, this topic is pretty dull—it's time to move on.

This thread is pathetic and needs to be closed.

I picked up a Stanley Cup and honestly, I’m loving it... I can't really speak for what other brands are putting out though.

Pros: It feels significantly more hygienic than using pads or tampons, since the blood stays contained within the cup and you don't have to deal with any unpleasant odors... plus, it doesn't chafe the way a pad does. 😬
Regarding the financial sector—it’s an investment that pays for itself in about four months, give or take. After a year, you'll find you've saved a decent amount of cash...
And, I will say, my cramps aren't nearly as bad.

Cons: You do have to shell out a few bucks for a new small kettle, just so you can boil the cup between cycles...

Maybe someone from Law has some insight to add here... 🍿

@bluebadger112/">@@bluebadger112 — it both amuses and saddens me that these perfectly normal topics are still treated like some kind of taboo by men...
Drop the link to that article; I'm genuinely curious to see who wrote that ridiculous piece and how they managed it. 🍿

I'm basil 🙂 we had to swap out the glasses every few months—otherwise they’d just start falling out

E: I don't have the link handy, but it was in an issue of National Geographic from last year
