Drew Ross2 said:it goes like this:

First, I brewed some chamomile tea like she suggested. It was so hot I actually scorched my tongue a bit, which briefly distracted me from the stomach cramps.
After finishing the tea, I unzipped my dress just so the waistband wouldn't squeeze me.
Then I waited... and waited... and eventually, the pain just vanished.
👋

🙂 chamomile is the absolute best 👍 always 🙂
That’s how I handled my bridesmaid back in the day—I didn't know she'd be my maid of honor then, but she was going through it, and I had to be up early the next morning. She knocks on my dorm door 😳 for the first time, right? Fine, I listen to her venting for half an hour, then try to sleep. An hour later, she's knocking again, having been screaming on the phone in her room about 😳 whatever. I listen to her a second time, trying to get back to sleep. Then she starts yelling again, knocks again, crying... hold on. I made her some chamomile tea, gave her a shoulder massage, and she finally left me alone for the night. 🙂

I used to love being back at the dorms, just people popping in whenever they felt like it 🙄
One time I was having a really productive afternoon studying when this girl from my roommate's floor—who wasn't even there—just sat down next to me and started venting about her dating life ☕
It was wild, I’m trying to focus on my finals ☕ and I barely even knew who she was ☕

Once, I’m sitting there trying to study in the afternoon when some girl who isn't even my roommate just wanders in and starts dumping all her relationship drama on me. ☕
Like, I’m actually trying to ☕ and I barely even know you, ☕

And apparently, we can't afford a private therapist right now, 🤣

PMS is hitting hard. My patience for people online is basically zero right now.
In the last five minutes, I almost typed out a furious comment telling some lady I’m starving, just because she started bragging about her way of cooking while acting superior about someone else's style. She’s getting old with this whole "fresh seafood" routine—like everything was caught this morning. Just get lost. 🥱 And they all seem to be getting heavier on their profile pics, too. 😳 Reminds me of this doctor I worked with years ago; she’d act all high and mighty during the day talking about organic greens and fresh fish, then head to her private office at night and order a massive cheeseburger delivered straight to her window. 🙄

It drives me crazy seeing these new moms acting like they have all the answers in every single post, detailing exactly what they prepared for their kid's lunch 😳 like they're experts, while everyone else is just sitting there wondering why they don't post a photo of every single mashed carrot or bowl of puree. Then they start lecturing... endlessly. 🙄

And it really gets under my skin how suddenly everyone thinks Scandinavians have unlocked the secrets of the universe and we all need to learn how to play or raise kids from them. I don't have an issue with their methods, but man, they are incredibly smug about it. "Scandinavian parenting," "Scandinavian play." All we need now is a Scandinavian manual for sex for moms and dads. 😳

😠😠

And that’s not even the end of it; my list of annoyances keeps growing.

Hey rapidtrucker78 😁

People really get under my skin. 🙂
Yesterday, I was standing in line at a Target with a full cart—just trying to get through the day—when this old guy walks up, looks me dead in the eye, and just cuts right in front of me. No apology, nothing.
So, I say to him:
"Excuse me, but I'm in line too!"
And his response?
"Let's see... I only have three items."
Basically, 🙄 I told him that common courtesy involves actually asking first, then I just moved to a different line because I didn't feel like wasting my breath arguing with an uncultured idiot.
It seems like there's always talk about how kids these days lack discipline, but honestly, some seniors can be just as rude when it comes to basic etiquette.

Then, as I’m pulling out of the parking lot, this woman starts driving straight toward me—not even looking where she’s going, just staring off to the side.
For God's sake, watch where you're driving. I ended up honking the horn and practically waving her off.

And honestly, Chicago in the rain just irritates me. Everyone drives like they're caught in some kind of typhoon-tornado hybrid. 😵

And then there's the rest—the ones who can't help but upload photos of every single bowl of puree or steamed carrot they offer their child. Then comes the lecturing... just an endless loop of it. 🙄

A total circus😁

I don't have anything against their methods, really, but man, the condescension is unreal. It's always "the Scandinavian way" of parenting or "the Scandinavian way" of playing. At this rate, we'll probably get a manual for the "Scandinavian way" of having sex for parents, too. 😳

What does "Scandinavian parenting" even look like? 😁

So I told him:
Don't worry, I'm good too.
a on:
Let's see. I've only got three things to say about this.

Did you get in line before him? 😬
Old geezer. ☕

So I’m pulling out of the parking lot, and this woman starts heading straight for me. She's staring off in the wrong direction, just driving dead at me.
Dammit, pay attention to where you're going. I honked at her and even gave her a little nudge.

Chicken. ☕

What’s the deal with Danish parenting? 😁

I can't believe you still don't know. ☕

I’ve always admired how they raise kids over in Denmark—they're constantly outside playing in the cold and rain, and instead of forcing them to share everything, they teach them that it's perfectly fine to say "no."
Did I miss anything, or is that the gist of it? ☕

Also, does this kind of stuff get under your skin? Because honestly, nothing bugs me more than traffic and some of the drivers out there.
It really drives me crazy when driving instructors take their students straight onto the busy streets of Chicago instead of letting them practice in a parking lot until they actually have some basic confidence and speed down.
Especially when someone is crawling along at 25 mph during the morning rush hour while everyone else is trying to keep up at 45! ☕

Old geezer. ☕

I can't believe you still don't know. ☕

I am. 🤣
I took a quick, triumphant look back—just to see who was actually left standing in my wake. 🤣

And there you have it—you know me well enough to know I steer clear of that kind of nonsense. 😳

Kimberly Rodriguez51 said:The way they raise kids over there—it’s a bit much. They’re constantly out in the elements, running around in the freezing cold or through a downpour, seemingly without a second thought. And instead of drilling them on how to share everything, they focus on teaching them that it's perfectly fine to say "no" and set boundaries. I guess it's one way to do it.
Did I miss anything, or is that the whole story?

Is this what gets everyone worked up? If so, personally, I find traffic—and specifically certain drivers out there—to be absolutely infuriating.
It honestly irritates me—these driving instructors who drag their students straight out into the chaos of downtown Chicago streets before they’ve even mastered basic control or steady speed. They should be staying on the training lots until the fundamentals are actually second nature.
And that’s not even mentioning the morning rush—when I’m crawling along at 25 mph while everyone else is pushing 30 or 35. Just lovely. ☕️

Traffic is driving me up the wall—especially when you're stuck behind people who seemingly have no idea how to operate a vehicle. It’s exhausting. 🙂
What’s your take on those dancers? 😁

Jacob Brown11 said:Let's kick this thread back into gear—properly this time. :lu x:
I actually enjoy reading about how much you all suffer during PMS. :lux :

And there you have it—proof that women are supposedly the villains. 😁

He didn't give me a formal recommendation, but I’ve got a real good feeling about this one. It’s got potential—honestly, you could easily turn this into a full-blown cinematic scenario if you played it right.👍

I figured I’d pose this question to the women participating in this thread—do you ever look back and genuinely regret missing out?
