The links for the H&M commercial and that IT retailer aren't loading for me, but you're definitely heading in the right direction. A 24" screen with an IPS panel is a non-negotiable, though having an ergonomic stand like the first model is a nice bonus...

Take this one, for example: click

I was looking at this:
https://www.hm.com/dell-monitor-p...roizvod/240380

It would be ideal if it had built-in speakers. Is there anything else in this price range with similar specs that actually includes them?

I’m considering taking a bit of a gamble with my RTX 3060, hoping it can actually handle 2K resolution, just so I can justify picking up a nice 27" 2K monitor. To be honest, I don't know the first thing about monitors, so if anyone has a recommendation, I'm all ears. Naturally, I'd prefer to keep things budget-friendly 😁
From what I’ve gathered while browsing YouTube, it should be able to maintain 60 fps without much trouble. It's currently paired with an Intel Core 5 2600 and 16GB of RAM

It’s finally at the point where a 32" monitor is actually affordable

I'd honestly pay more for a 27", but only if I wasn't stuck with a TN panel or a basic 60Hz refresh rate without FreeSync. This AOC model you're looking at hits 75Hz, which is a step up.

Just placed my order, and I'm heading out to pick it up today. I'll let you guys know how it performs once I get it running.

Since I’m definitely not an expert when it comes to monitors, I can't say for sure, but this thing feels like a massive leap forward compared to my old 23" 1080p IPS display. The colors just feel deeper, more saturated—really full. It’s excellent. Even two different retailers confirmed to me that this is currently the best value on the market. As far as I'm concerned, I'm beyond happy with the purchase so far.

That specific model practically conquered the entire country. Honestly, you just can't beat that kind of value.

Hey everyone, greetings to you all!

I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer some guidance on which monitor I should perhaps look into getting? Currently, I'm running an RTX 3060, and I'd love to find something in the ballpark of $1000 that would work well... honestly, I'm asking because I'm really quite out of my element here. I don't exactly consider myself a hardcore gamer—nothing too intense or anything special, I suppose—but I do occasionally fire up a game or maybe catch an NBA game every now and then, and that’s pretty much it...

So, I was just wondering, what kind of processor are we talking about here?

Looks like something new just hit the shelves here,

Samsung Odyssey G5 27" 1080p 165Hz IPS Panel 3xHDMI 1xDP (which means you can actually run G-Sync on NVIDIA cards).

Anyone here actually owning this thing yet?
Or maybe you've stumbled upon a decent review that isn't stuck in some random language?

Go with that Dell. Those games aren't exactly heavy hitters; a 1070ti will crush them at 1440p easily. Plus, since you're just a casual gamer, you really don't need 144Hz.

Hey there,

So, my cat pretty much trashed my monitor, so I’m back on the hunt for a new one. I'm not exactly an expert at this stuff, so I was hoping maybe someone here could point me in the right direction with some recommendations.

I've been thinking about stepping up to something a bit larger, maybe in the 24 to 27-inch range. I’m definitely not a pro gamer or anything—I don't really compete—but I do enjoy playing games, and I'd love to have at least 1080p resolution if possible.

I'm running an Intel graphics card with 2GB of VRAM, if that matters at all. My budget is somewhere around $1500-$667.

Thanks so much

Hey there!

I'm looking to pick up a new monitor by $833. I'll be using it for graphic design and some single-player gaming. My main priorities are image quality—so 1080p is a must—around a 24" size, and ideally something with a response time of 2ms or less.
I'm not exactly an expert, so I'm wondering if it even makes sense to bother with a 75Hz or 144Hz monitor given my current setup with a Core i5-8400 and a GTX 1050Ti?

Right now, I've got an IPS Panel: a Dell UltraSharp, but honestly, the picture quality feels worse than my old TN: a Samsung Monitor. Plus, after just two years, some white spots started appearing behind the screen... so I'd probably prefer to stay away from anything from Dell or Samsung.

It still seems to me that this Dell is the best value overall, especially if you're looking for a larger screen.

The only downside for both of you is that those GPUs are a bit weak for 1440p resolution, but it'll work fine if you stick to older titles or newer, less demanding games.

If you're sticking with 24" and 1080p, you should definitely go for 144Hz regardless of whether you think you need it—they just aren't expensive anymore.

You can even find them with an IPS Panel now.

If you decide to go with 1080p at 24", I’d definitely suggest getting one with 144Hz. Whether you really need it or not, I guess... they aren't expensive anymore anyway...

There's a VA panel option too—the C24G1, lc24fg73fquxen

Thanks!

Does that first one come in a 24" or a 27" version?

That second one looks great, but honestly, that stand might be a problem for me because of that third leg in the back. It would probably get in the way if I tried to push the monitor right up against the wall.

Unfortunately not, they only come in 31.5". While I'm at it, let me throw some newer models into the mix:

Timothy Kim60 said:On another note, some budget-friendly monitors featuring an IPS Panel and 144Hz have hit the market. It wasn't common to find a 24" 1080p setup with 144Hz before; usually, you'd only see those refresh rates paired with much higher resolutions for high-end builds:

https://www.amazon.com/search?q=24G2U

There’s also a 144Hz 1440p option (27" with a VA panel) that has popped up at a pretty reasonable price point.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/monitor-sample-link

I can't say for certain if they're worth it, but looking strictly at the spec sheets, these are incredible deals.

Something like this—similar to the one I linked for you earlier—would have been unthinkable at this price point just a year or two ago.

She’s on a tight budget, so she needs something cheap that actually gets the job done—accurate colors, decent resolution, the works...

We’ve narrowed it down to a few options, so I’m looking for some advice on which one is the best bet.

Look, I have the Dell U2412M. It's an older model and honestly? It's garbage for professional photo editing.
It uses an e-IPS panel with only 6-bit color. Total joke.

Also, those links you posted are pretty much broken.

Hey everyone.

I'm currently rocking a Dell UltraSharp and I'm looking to upgrade to something with FreeSync and 144Hz.

What’s the best move here? Ideally, I want at least 1440p—doesn't have to be 4K—and at least 27".

I stumbled upon this but it looks like a TN panel. Honestly, I'm not even sure how big the quality gap actually is between TN, IPS, or VA.

Any good alternatives out there?

Maybe this one?
Though I'm a bit confused by the description saying: "Refresh rate: 165Hz (144Hz without G-Sync)"

Thanks!
