Razer Kraken are decent enough. People complain they feel cheap because they're mostly plastic, but the sound is solid and the mic is clear...
I use them myself and they're a steal at that price point.

Hi everyone,

I could really use some help picking out a new headset.

I'm looking for something specifically for gaming on my PS4.

It definitely needs a mic, and since I wear glasses, I need something that won't squeeze my head too hard. I'd also love decent surround sound—I really want to be able to pinpoint where enemies are coming from😁 😁 (especially when playing Battlefield).

Ideally, I'd like them to be wireless, but I'm open to any suggestions if a wired option is actually better.

Usage won't be extreme; I'll probably put in about 15 hours a week, averaging roughly 2 hours of gaming per day.

Now for the most important part: my budget is around $233 (give or take $15).

This would be my first proper gaming headset, so I'm feeling a bit lost on what to choose.

I wouldn't consider myself an expert when it comes to recommending headsets—that's really not my specialty—but if you're looking at edigital, I'd suggest thinking twice. They have a pretty rough reputation regarding customer service and handling returns. If you find a specific model you actually like, just drop the name over at Slickdeals, and people there can help you hunt down the best price available.

Hard agree. My 8-year-old uses my SteelSeries Arctis 7, and honestly, buying a dedicated setup just for him wouldn't even cross my mind. 😬🕺

They don't have the sense to take care of expensive tech, nor can they wrap their heads around how much stuff actually costs when they're still that "little."

They seem alright. Honestly, they’ll likely just be a step up from the Sharkoon Rush models. I noticed some of them feature that leather padding around the earcups, which is a nice touch.

Hey everyone! So, my headset has started crackling in one ear, and honestly, they've been around for a few years now... plus they've taken a couple of falls, so I guess that might be part of it. The sound sort of drifts from one side to the other, and sometimes one side just goes totally dead until I tilt my head a certain way to get it back 😁 ...

Right now, I'm using a Logitech wireless set, mostly because being wireless is a huge deal for me—Bluetooth just isn't an option since my PC is ancient and the jack ports are basically useless, so it really has to be via USB

These have probably been with me for two or three years, and the real kicker is that I tried Googling similar models recently, and man, the prices absolutely terrified me; I'm positive I paid way less than this before...

I think I have the Logitech H600, but I can't find the box anywhere and there’s no model name printed on them... It's also super important to me that whatever I get is really lightweight; I can't stand those massive, heavy headsets that weigh you down

Any recommendations? Please help...

I'm looking for some wireless headphones to use with my TV (Samsung Neo QLED) and my laptop. They absolutely need onboard volume control. Since I’m sitting about 13 feet away from the TV, they have to be wireless. Is Best Buy the best bet for this?

I was wondering if anyone could suggest some headphones that don't really leak sound out to the people around me.

To be clear, I'm not actually looking for those active noise-canceling models that block out the world, but more like something where I can crank up the volume quite a bit without everyone else in the room hearing my business. 🙂

I'd prefer something that isn't too expensive and feels pretty comfortable for long sessions, if possible.
