Mouse recommendations?

Looking for wireless mouse recommendations under $400.$167
I don't care much about sensor resolution, but battery life is actually pretty important to me.
If it has some RGB lighting like what you see in the videos, that wouldn't hurt either.

For context, I have long fingers and usually use a fingertip grip. Right now, I’m using a Razer DeathAdder, which is a fairly large mouse.

I have a quick question for the group: does this thing actually require a mousepad, or can I just run it directly on the desk surface without any issues?
