Why are posts being deleted on MK?

I’m trying to figure out why my posts were scrubbed from the thread Krkan men asking Krkan women and vice versa.

If I’m putting in the effort to write something, I don't see how you can just delete it without a valid reason. Either give me an explanation as to why they were removed, or just put them back up.

I also want to know which moderator handled this. And please, let’s skip the passive-aggressive move of just ignoring this thread.

Any moderator in charge of a specific subforum has the authority to delete any post they deem inappropriate.
Look, whenever someone wipes a post on a board where we're allowed to cut loose and act a little stupid—as long as it isn't being malicious—I’m not going to go hunting for an explanation. I’ll just say thanks. 🙂

Fair enough. But what I want to know is what specifically made my posts "inappropriate." If the mods have the right to pull content, which is reasonable, then it stands to reason that I have the right to ask why they did it—to understand what was wrong with them. If everything was fine, then there shouldn't have been a reason to hit delete.

You haven't been on this forum since yesterday, so you should know by now that nobody is obligated to explain why posts get deleted. If they do, consider it a favor.
But hey, I won't stand in your way while you go hunting for justice. Hopefully, you'll eventually get the answer you're looking for. 🙂

How so? If a post gets nuked, there has to be a reason behind it. It's basic logic. I don't think my posts crossed any lines, so I want to know why the moderator felt they were inappropriate. They owe me an explanation. A deletion needs to be justified. If it isn't, then those posts shouldn't have been touched in the first place.

I’d appreciate it if you stopped weighing in here. This thread is specifically for questioning the moderators. I don't see how your input helps my case.

So, what’s the actual issue? Why are posts being deleted? Generally, they get pulled if they're inappropriate—maybe not fit for the board, or just out of place in the thread. That's the rule. As for what you're specifically asking, I just felt those few posts didn't really sit right given everything happening in Paris. That's all there is to it.

Not really, because you still haven't actually explained yourself. Just telling me you don't think something "fits" doesn't carry any weight. It’s like me claiming that after we die, everyone moves to a land inhabited by pink unicorns. You’re just throwing out an opinion without providing any actual reasoning behind it.

Just a little tip for the future regarding how you handle moderation (take this as friendly advice) -> try to have a rationale for your decisions. If there isn't one, it logically follows that your actions aren't based on anything substantial—they're just based on whatever mood you happen to be in at the moment.

I have a rationale for every mod action I take. Whether anyone actually agrees with me is entirely beside the point.
