I've got a really old machine here. Budget is tight, so I can't swap the whole thing out just yet. Instead, I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card, but it’s an AGP slot setup.
My current PC specs:
Motherboard> IBM 8189Y6V
RAM> 1.25GB
Processor> Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz
Current GPU> ATI Radeon hd 3450 512
Power Supply> roughly 200W
I've been running this specific card with this build for about four years now.

Nothing pricey, please. Looking for something under $177.

Don't suggest anything too expensive; try to keep it under $177.

Good grief, why on earth would you want to upgrade that? What are you even hoping to achieve with an upgrade?

I'm swapping out this card for one with active cooling since the current one is just passive.

I'd probably just skip all of that... you can find a slightly better HD 3650 AGP on eBay for $67, so it's really not worth the investment. For $333, you could honestly pick up a used rig that's five times more powerful.

EDIT: I guess I left out a few things...

Assuming the monitor isn't included, you should get it for $217.

I might look into upgrading the RAM too. I'd like the rig to feel a bit snappier when I'm tight on cash. 😢

I'm not from around here, so I probably typed in the wrong price. Does anyone have a recommendation for a GPU that goes for under $30?

Just bundle that junk and sell it for $150$67. You'll be better off picking up a decent used rig instead. Your processor is way too weak to handle a better GPU, so there’s zero point in throwing more money at it—especially not $177. You can snag something actually solid for around $700$267.

Where are you even from?
