His plan was flawless—he just forgot one tiny detail: actually winning over the fans... and that's where he completely blew it.

To build on what Henry Lewis6 said, Pokrovac was actually gone by June 2005. That was just a month after Dinamo's "loser league" season wrapped up, and right before the 2005/2006 season kicked off—the one where they started that run of nine straight titles.

Henry Lewis6 said:Now this part gets really interesting... shortly after the murder of Dino Pokrovac, Mamica actually went to visit Dino Polrovac's lawyer—Tomislav Svetina—who happened to be the one with access to Dinamo's black notebook. 🤣
If you take a step back and look at the pattern, ever since Dino Pokrovac passed away, so many people who were once close to him have suddenly jumped ship over to the other side—Mamica's side—and they just seem to get more successful and influential by the day...
For heaven's sake, 😲
Someone please get this over to the local news outlets or those big sports blogs, because they're probably the only ones brave enough to actually run a story like this...

Someone get this over to ESPN or those guys at Fox Sports, they're probably the only ones actually willing to run a story like this.
velvetfalcon80, mentioning "that" name is definitely unnecessary...
And as for you acting all shocked about this being published, maybe it’s news to you, but people have been pointing out who his lawyer was here and everywhere else for years now. I highly doubt most people—even the local reporters—are finding this to be some massive revelation.

And then we get this denial from Moravkin:
The Pokrovčev family is already making moves to sue both Kranjčar and the Los Angeles Angels. Meanwhile, during a recent hearing, Emil Žgur insisted that Pokrovac had absolutely nothing to do with Niko Kranjčar’s transfer from the New York Yankees to the Los Angeles Angels.
Make no mistake, these are all recent reports. As noted in the text, Svetina, Fiorentini, and Grgić failed to show up for the proceedings. The next hearing is scheduled for the end of January.

Kudos to you guys... we all know Pokrovac was taken out, but honestly, I doubt any of us actually knew the full story behind it. I certainly didn't see this coming.
It’s wild... the whole scenario feels like something straight out of a Hollywood thriller...
You could probably find a similar pattern if you looked into the Ivana Hodak case... man, what a complete mess this country is.
How are we ever supposed to expect mafia arrests when the police are basically acting as their security detail?

You talking about DSK?

Here are a few more links regarding just how dirty our soccer scene really is and how the American public suffers from such incredibly short memories.
Cover, Shorty, Petracc...
Look at Kuže's attempt to paint Cover as some sort of loan shark, Mamić's calculated silence on the matter, and his subsequent grandstanding about exposing the soccer mafia.

Cover's wife and daughter have been fighting tooth and nail this entire time just to get their hands on the inheritance that rightfully belongs to them. When you look at it through that lens, her denial actually makes perfect sense. Furthermore, wouldn't Kuže's previous crusade against Cover being labeled a money lender simply be an attempt to protect the assets he had built up?

If we pull off this win against Rugvica tomorrow (Monday, Dec 8th), we’re heading straight to a massive Cup final against the reigning American champs, and it’s going down right in the Dražen Arena!
So, everyone needs to be at Twilight Spring by 9 PM tomorrow to catch Dinamo Futsal vs. Rugvica!

So we pass the US champions, then head over to Tomic Tavern if I caught that right... though maybe Hajduk could've snagged a spot in the main final too. 😁 http://www.crofutsal.com/hmn-kup/kup...pa-regije-jug/

Tomic Tavern or maybe Novo Vrijeme, but honestly this whole part is pretty interesting.
It's kind of wild, since the Hajduk coach Pier Malvasia wasn't even on the sidelines with his team, because he was actually hanging out at Tomic Tavern! 🤣
