You’re talking nonsense about "cards." I tried it three different times and failed every single time. That’s exactly why I’m deleting this and moving on, so just give it a rest.

Not me, not the club, not even the local high school or the university... different opinions are fine for everyone, even if it's some harsh criticism when you know who they are and they've actually earned respect working the sidelines. Even the professor gets way more protection than your average forum user

Doubt it's his first post.
Some people just don't write everything from the same account 😉

I honestly feel like what would be best for the whole group is just merging the club and the association, MY OPINION, so please, let's keep the replies smart and skip the nonsense...

Are you seriously trying to tell me that? I don't even know where to start with this one. It’s just one thing after another lately. You look at how things are running, how decisions are being made, and it’s like nobody is actually paying attention to the big picture. It’s all smoke and mirrors. It reminds me of that time I was stuck in traffic on the I-95 during rush hour—just total chaos, everyone moving in different directions, zero coordination, and absolutely no sense of purpose. That’s exactly what we’re seeing here. We’re spinning our wheels while the people in charge act like everything is perfectly fine. It’s frustrating, honestly. You expect a certain level of competence, a baseline of logic, but instead, you get this constant stream of nonsense. It’s not even about one specific mistake anymore; it’s the pattern. It’s the way the whole system seems designed to fail or, at the very least, to make sure the average person stays confused. If you aren't careful, you'll wake up one day and realize the entire foundation is built on sand. We need more than just empty promises or quick fixes. We need actual substance. But I guess that’s asking too much these days, isn't it? What about the US?🤔

Tom, we had something else majorly important scheduled for yesterday, so you can't seriously expect us to pack out the North Stand just because of some random text. It’s not like 300 old-school diehards are just gonna show up out of nowhere.

I honestly can't wrap my head around any actual reason why the club and the association shouldn't just be one and the same, other than whatever the leadership thinks—and who knows what those guys are even thinking lately... anyway, Tom, what’s your take on all this? We can always chat more in the DMs if you want...

That wouldn't work because we're Americans, and you know the old saying: "one American, three different political parties." Even BBB isn't quite the same story. You can look at groups like the Red Sox fans or the Yankees faithful—they act as if they can be any better than the country they live in. The state and society ultimately define the fans. No matter how much people try to present themselves in a different light, it’s hard to escape. We are all part of this same mess we live in. You can't expect supporters to be anything different or significantly better than the rest of our society. If we are divided as a nation, it's unlikely we'll be united as fans. I suppose that's just how things work here. Personally, I'd say it would just cause confusion for one association, and I was always against forming separate associations in the first place. That's exactly what led us to this mess, allowing someone like Mamić to set up five more of his own private organizations that exist just to stay in his pocket.

Zgmarac said:I’m not suggesting you're some corporate shill—I couldn't possibly know that. It just seems suspicious seeing all these new accounts popping up where the very first post is nothing but criticism, and they all seem to share the exact same tone... Look, I agree that certain things could have been handled differently, but there is absolutely no way I’m going to sit here and talk trash or offer "suggestions" from the comfort of my couch if it isn't done with respect for the people out there actually dealing with all this nonsense...

The username is new because I deactivated my old account, but I’ve been on this forum for ages. My intention wasn't to provoke anyone or pull a prank, nor was it strictly meant to be a critique—if that were the case, I would have cited specific incidents, names, and facts. As for this idea that we all share an "identical tone," I can't say anything because I don't know who you're referring to. However, I do believe there is a massive influx of people arriving from all directions whose sole purpose is to stir the pot and spit venom. They come from everywhere: from paid mercenaries to those working for the local police, or even just random trolls who don't even know which side they're supposed to be on... That wasn't my intent. I simply wanted to state my perspective, and I believe I did so appropriately by not leaking sensitive information or naming individuals that affect everyone. Furthermore, I wasn't being insulting, cynical, or ironic in any way that would warrant someone hurling insults at me—which, apparently, is what some people felt the need to do a mere five or six seconds after my initial post..
I stand by my point: lately, whenever anyone expresses a view that deviates from the majority, they are met with far more toxicity than they deserve. There is a massive difference between attacking everything someone tries to build or dismissing constructive ideas out of pure ignorance, versus reacting to a completely harmless suggestion or a simple observation...

As for that "Should Be" crew—those aren't even the Mamić's little provocateurs, they're just a bunch of lazy losers wasting time or some clueless kids who need to grow up before they open their mouths.

I'm betting anyone who tried to backstab the group over the last few years is gonna end up getting an earful from the guys running things today.

But look, it’s not enough to just throw out suggestions. There aren't enough people here to turn everyone's little pipe dreams into reality. This club isn't some trash bin for random thoughts. If you bring an idea, you better bring the fix too.

For instance, I agree with the sentiment here that the club's media presence is weak, and yeah, that's a mistake. But instead of pointing fingers at leadership and telling them to do it, I’d grab one of my guys who knows how to talk and get it done.

It's simple: problem -> solution. Your ideas don't mean squat if you aren't ready to actually do the work.
