Transcription services: Any recommendations?

Is there an actual program out there that converts audio files into text? I have these recordings saved on my phone and now I'm stuck having to turn them into full transcripts—basically typing everything out manually. Does anyone know of something that can just automatically output the speech from a recording?🤦

It works for certain languages. As for American, I don't think it does...

Forget about trying to master the American language... it’s just way too complicated.
But honestly, if someone actually knows how to write well—you know, fast and with all their fingers—they shouldn't be having any trouble at all.
If you can't handle it, then just find someone who can.
