Back in the day, drivers were practically fighting in the streets just to get a seat at Sauber...
Now? Nobody even wants to touch them because theyβre easily the slowest cars on the grid...
It sucks that they're that bad, but Pascal is acting really weird in all this...
Honestly, if Sauber has any shot at scoring points this season, it's right here at the US Grand Prix if everyone else's engines blow up or they just retire, plus their power units aren't even at full strength yet...
If they keep dragging around last year's engine, Sauber is just going to be in deeper and deeper trouble as the season goes on. It honestly baffles me why he isn't driving, especially since he probably knows this weekend is his best shot. The absolute worst-case scenario? Giovinazzi pulls off a decent result that Pascal couldn't hope to beat the entire rest of the season...
