Solid movie, honestly.

I’m not even gonna get into whether the plot actually makes sense or if it’s realistic, because why bother? The jokes land, the two leads are awesome, and that girl from the vampire flick is gorgeousβ€”even if her role was kind of a wasted opportunity. Plus, the action scenes aren't half bad.

All in all, definitely one of the better comedies I've seen lately.

Man, that movie was a total blast. I honestly had such a great time watching it. I’d go as far as to say it actually holds up better than the > franchise. It’s got that specific vibe from those classic 80s and 90s flicks, which just makes it even more enjoyable. Looking at the numbers, a sequel seems like a no-brainer. With a budget of around 17 million USDβ€”and if you factor in another 10 million for marketing, we're looking at maybe 30 million totalβ€”it already pulled in 82 million USD here in the USA alone, bringing the global total to 137 million USD.

BTW. Pupa is the GOAT. 🀣

The movie's fun and all, but I don't know... I wouldn't say I'd put it above Main Street 😁

To be totally honest, is 21 Jump Street even the gold standard for greatness?

I don't think this is better or worse than that one. It's just a solid comedy with good jokes, and honestly, I liked the two leads a lot more in this one.

Hey. πŸ‘

My only gripe? The second half. It shifts from comedy straight into actionβ€”zero laughs, basically. No funny bits at all. That’s where the movie started dragging for me and lost its spark. But whatever, overall, I'm still feeling pretty good about it.

Honestly, it’s a total riotβ€”super fun and definitely worth checking out, at least for that one specific part.

I’m a sucker for these kinds of comedies where you just have two characters causing absolute chaos. I mean, let's be real, you need people making stupid mistakes for the jokes to actually land, right? But you know what I mean... I guess even I don't quite get myself half the time (total sarcasm there, obviously). 😁
