For best friends Hunter and Becky, life is mostly about facing fears and seeing how far they can push their limits. But everything changes when they climb an abandoned 2,000-foot TV tower out in the middle of nowhere and find themselves stuck at the top with no way down. The movie follows Hunter and Becky as they struggle to figure out a way to descend, all while battling harsh weather, hunger, and thirst.

Just watched the trailer. My first thought—since you’re apparently some kind of genius deciding to scale some rusty tower where bolts are literally falling off—is that you didn't bother telling anyone where you were in the middle of nowhere. Honestly, maybe you don't even deserve to be found. Just two idiots making bad choices.

That was one of those things that bugged me too, but Hunter was just way too overconfident. She really thought she could get it done fast. I can't quite remember if she posted those vlogs on Instagram before the trip or if she just filmed them for herself, but honestly, I think the whole point of that aspect is just showing how dangerous it is to act like an idiot for likes. I actually dig that message.

It's worth noting the movie had a tiny $3 million budget. Also, since the actresses were filming on this small tower set, they swore a lot—which obviously wouldn't fly in a PG-13 movie. So, the producers used AI to swap out all the profanity with the word "fricking."

The plot is there, though the ending felt a little rushed. But overall, the movie worked for me. Just the idea of being stuck on a tiny platform 2,000 feet up is terrifying enough on its own. It does a good job blending acrophobia with claustrophobia.

I'm still sticking to my guns on this one—it’s actually one of those rare movies that hooked me right from the first watch. It reminds me of Raw (2016). Sure, it has its flaws, but the premise and the story itself? Really solid. I don't think we've had many films with a similar setup lately—protagonists stuck at the top of a massive skyscraper with no way down. It's just a fun idea and a cool concept.

Just finished watching it. It’s an okay watch, but honestly—that's about it. It’s predictable from start to finish, just hitting those same clichés you've seen a thousand times before. There's also some questionable logic and just plain stupidity here and there—like the drone being up in the air one second and then tucked in a backpack the next, or that hair tie being wrapped around a phone they tossed off a tower only to be used again later. That said, the actresses are absolutely killer. 6/10

Do you even have any idea how much wind is blowing at 600 meters up there?! They're up there talking away, just wiggling around like they’re sitting on a couch in their own living room🤦

I’ve been up on ship masts that were maybe 60-70 feet high, and even then, standing on those platforms is terrifying! Your stomach just does a complete flip🤔 But these women at 2,000 feet... they're just pacing in circles, standing still for a second, sitting, jumping... I mean, they're actual pro climbers, and I'm just some random guy😉

Solid movie. It definitely keeps you hooked.👍

Breathtaking scenes

So, they played the trailer for this one in the theater right before the feature started, and I honestly have this lingering feeling that I just watched about three-quarters of the actual movie. It didn't really feel like a trailer so much as a condensed summary of the first hour or perhaps even longer. I suppose it kind of killed my motivation to sit through the whole thing, since I feel like I've already seen everything and can probably guess exactly how it’s going to end.

God, I am actually shaking after watching that trailer. My biggest nightmare isn't even ghosts or slashers—it's my absolute phobia of heights. I get hit with this paralyzing terror in my dreams all the time, specifically those recurring ones where I'm standing right on the ledge of a fourth-floor window...

And honestly, looking at what they showed in the trailer, my gut feeling is that we should just stop there. It’s enough. Let's just leave well enough alone.

For a good chunk of the movie, I actually had that stomach knotting feeling, the same kind I get when I'm watching those mindless Russian movies where people go scaling buildings and cranes like it's nothing.

A friend of mine is an avid climber who still needs to tackle K2 and Everest before he can say he's done them all, and he pretty much thinks these guys using "minimal" gear are just asking for a funeral. Sure, chasing that adrenaline rush is great and all, but when you disregard safety equipment to the point where it costs you your life, that isn't a hobby anymore—it's just a death wish.

My hands were sweating too—it's this weird, claustrophobic vibe, like when you're scaling some tiny, treacherous ledge way too high up. I kept staring at that tower wondering how the hell it stays upright; between those cables and all that tension, the whole thing just feels sketchy as hell.

Honestly, I don't get people who throw themselves into stuff like this. It's pure madness. They might as well just donate their organs to someone who actually needs them right now.

The directing is solid, and they really nailed the atmosphere. Predictable? Yeah, totally. And honestly, the more the plot drifted, the more I found myself thinking the brunette definitely had better curves than the blonde—legs included.

I don't know about that. When the brunette realized the blonde wasn't actually with her—that she was dead—I didn't see that coming at all.

The only thing was knowing who would make it out alive at the end. Though even that wasn't a total certainty...

But honestly, we've seen that trope a million times—from Sixth Sense and Others with Nicole Kidman to all those random indie flicks.

The second I saw how much the blonde was overcommitting to this whole crazy plan, I could totally visualize her plummeting off that tower. And honestly, once I caught a glimpse of that tattoo, everything clicked—there was definitely some cheating going on. But hey, I can live with that because it adds this weird metaphorical layer to the whole mess (both of them stuck on top of that tower like some giant phallic symbol 😁 ).
I mean, yeah, I figured one of them was gonna go down, but the part where she just stays sprawled out on the antenna felt a little forced to me. All those visual tricks? Just director gimmicks.

The ending feels super rushed.

But I swear, I thought I saw it somewhere—maybe in the trailer?—that this was inspired by some true story!? Now I can't find anything about it anywhere.🤷
