Tyler Bennett5 said:Sure, I guess over 70% of fans worldwide follow Red Bull.
Those fans are incredibly objective, right? They see that Vettel wins championships solely because he drinks a specific energy drink. Yet, those very same fans cheer for Alonso because they view him as a superhuman driver. Even if he’s driving for their biggest rival.

But seriously, why was Schumacher never treated this poorly? Why was he never targeted so "rudely"?
Are you suggesting it's just because Schumacher's fans always held the majority?

Is the issue really just the ratio of Ferrari's fans compared to everyone else?

The truth is, Vettel drove a flawless race. Perfect. He didn't damage anyone or anything.
A clean, sporting, fair, and honest victory.
And yet, the crowd boos. They chant "A-LON-SO, A-LON-SO."

Something is clearly rotten in the Vettel narrative.
Especially considering how much he's being booed across the USA, all through Europe, and even in Asia.

Ayrton Senna was a three-time world champion.
Prost was a four-time champ.
Then you've got Schumacher—a seven-time legend (who, let's be honest, was getting absolutely toyed with by Nico Rosberg during those final three seasons).
And finally, Vettel, a three-time champion who'll likely be a four-timer before he's done.

Are you seriously trying to put Ayrton Senna in the same conversation as Vettel? 🤣 🤣I honestly don't even know what to say to you anymore.

Douglas Parker61 said:Calling the Lotus a brilliant car is just nonsense. It was fast in certain races, sure, but calling it "brilliant" is a stretch.

Look, compared to where they were before, the Lotus was a massive leap forward and definitely the surprise of the season.

What Kimi achieved with it isn't just his talent—it’s because the car itself made a huge jump in every single department.

Saying Kimi was just riding a mediocre car is just a way to overhype him.

Sure, he played a part, but without a car this good, he wouldn't have been on the podium at all. Even so, it wasn't quite top-tier world class.

Jason Campbell70 said:But seriously, how is it that even Schumacher never faced this level of blatant disrespect?
Are you suggesting it's simply because Schumacher's fanbase was always the dominant force?

Is the issue just the sheer ratio of Ferrari's fans compared to everyone else?

The truth is, Vettel drove a flawless race—absolute perfection without causing any unnecessary drama.
A clean, sporting, and entirely fair victory.
Yet the crowd is booing and chanting "A-LON-SO, A-LON-SO."

Something is clearly broken in the way people view Vettel.
Especially considering he faces this same hostility in the USA, in Europe, and even across Asia.

I'm sure winning world championships is a real burden when most fans across the globe can't stand you.🤣

David Anderson72 said:Schumacher had his share of dark moments too. He was temperamental, he crashed, he wasn't afraid of a physical confrontation. But even then, people respected him—and they still do. He's one of the two greatest to ever do it.
As for Vettel, the respect seems to be limited to a very specific crowd.🙂

Besides, doesn't the atmosphere on this forum prove the point? 😁
Regarding Vettel—it’s just one fan and a handful of trolls or bandwagoners crawling out of their holes every time he grabs a win.

Your argument is simply world-class, isn't it?

The fact that Kimi managed to pull off what he did isn't some massive credit to his talent alone; it’s about that car. That machine represented a leap forward in every single technical aspect.

Claiming Kimi is only on the podium because he's driving a mediocre car is just nonsense cooked up by people trying to inflate his reputation.

Sure, Kimi plays his part, but without a Lotus of that caliber, he wouldn't even be sniffing the podium, let alone fighting for wins. Still, it doesn't quite reach that absolute world-class tier.

So, basically, Kimi scores points just because he’s sitting in a top-tier car, while Vettel is legendary simply because he's a god-tier driver regardless of what he's driving?
I swear, I am going to read some truly ridiculous takes on this forum.

jadeseal7 said:It’s a massive challenge—having a car that’s two seconds faster per lap and a completely clear track ahead of you, then actually driving it without making a single mistake. That’s what separates the greats. Even Takuma Sato could have handled that. 🤣

Everyone already knew Red Bull Racing would dominate at the US Grand Prix and Japan, and likely a few more races down the road too.

And again, just because he managed to get through without any major mistakes doesn't mean much. It just proves he’s an amateur driver.

The lap times tell the whole story. Even with inferior cars, you can see just how much those lap times are swinging around. ☕

I don't know what else I'm going to read on here.

Kimi wouldn't be on the podium if Lotus wasn't competitive. Just like Vettel wouldn't have those titles without a solid Red Bull. Then again, a fast car doesn't mean much if you don't have a real driver capable of performing at a high level all season long.

The nonsense you're attributing to me is just the usual stuff people use to try and downplay Vettel's talent.

Which, by the way, already has more titles than Alonso and Kimi combined. 🤣

It's just Vettel—one lone fan and a handful of trolls or glory hunters crawling out of their holes every time Vettel wins.

If the mods actually did their jobs, you wouldn't have been locked out of this PDF like you were before. I can't imagine why they'd bother stripping your permissions. 🙂

Especially considering he gets the same treatment in the US, in Europe, and even over in Asia.

Just look at the grandstands today—or any other race, for that matter. You see plenty of Red Bull Racing flags, Williams', Force India, and Toro Rosso. There are a few McLaren's flags here and there, but that's about it.
So please, don't try to tell me that Ferrari's fanbase isn't triple the size of all the others combined.
I’ll believe that about as readily as I’d believe TBF1 when they claim that RB isn't currently the dominant car on the grid.

It’s just one fan and a handful of trolls or glory hunters crawling out of their holes every time Sebastian Vettel wins.

Then they act like experts, even though their original posts make it obvious they're just frustrated little mice popping out of their dens.

It's honestly a tragedy that out of all the elite drivers currently in Formula 1, the championship goes to this slightly above-average driver simply because of the car.

And then you get mad when someone points out you don't know Formula 1 any better than Mara knows... whatever that is. 🤣

But honestly? The fact that he pulled off a flawless drive while managing the task so perfectly just proves we're looking at an absolute generational talent.

The lap times tell the whole story. The rest of the field is driving inferior cars, yet you can still see how much their lap times are fluctuating wildly compared to him. ☕

If you’ve followed Formula 1 for even a decent amount of time, you’d probably realize you can't exactly clock consistent, metronomic lap times when you're constantly busy fighting through traffic and overtaking drivers in front of you.

David Anderson72 said:Schumacher had his moments, too. He dealt with some dark patches throughout his career—he could be hot-headed, prone to collisions, and always looking for a physical confrontation on track. But even so, he earned respect then, and he still earns it now. Isn't he still considered one of the two greatest to ever do it?
Respect is clearly given where it's due, isn't it?🙂

Anyway, since you brought up the two greatest of all time...
Those two legends? They’re probably the biggest jerks to ever sit in a Formula 1 cockpit.
If they spent all their time playing dirty against their rivals, wouldn't they just end up winning titles only to be disqualified for cheating their own teams?
Both of them showed an unbelievable amount of arrogance and sheer classlessness.
So what... they consider them the greatest of all time? Simply because of what they achieved on the track?

As for Vettel, like I said... he wins everything the right way. He plays fair, stays clean, and just dominates. Breaking records? That's just what he does.
So what? The crowd is just tuning him out, honestly. They're practically mocking him at this point. And if you ask me, it’s because of his performance out on the track.
