A complete embarrassment of a race; the Grand Prix of Canada was an absolute letdown 🙄

Qualifying was pretty much the only interesting thing about this entire weekend.

But man, Bruce McLaren is wild... everyone else is stepping up and making gains, yet they're just sliding backward. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about it. 🙄

Maybe they've already checked out and are just focusing on next year's car.

Completely. Just before the race today, they aired this little segment showing him driving with Herbert. Herbert was asking him questions, and he just kept giving these three-word answers while staring blankly out the window.
It was the exact same thing before the race in Monaco, except back then he was riding with Martin Brundle...
It’s his way of telling you indirectly. He’s basically saying, "I've got the money, and I'm doing this all for you."

Lewis has that Southern grit—aggressive, incredibly fast. He's easily a class above Fettel.

Fernando Alonso missed out on the win during qualifying, and Sebastian Vettel is stuck banking points yet again.
It was a solid showing from Lewis Hamilton, Vergne, Paul di Rest, and Sergio Massa.
Adrian Sutil managed to scrape a point despite all the chaos out there.😲
Such a shame for Mark Webber; he looked like he was in top form right up until that contact happened.
As for Verstappen... well, yikes.🙂
Romain Grosjean is easily the worst driver on the grid this season, especially considering the car he's struggling with.

Did Adrian Sutil lose his penalty because Luigi decided to play it safe so Fernando wouldn't tear him apart on the straight?🤷
I could’ve sworn that right after he cleared Valtteri Bottas at the start, Fernando threw out two blatant blocks, but does anyone else feel like everyone is just ignoring it?🤷

It's obvious he's the better driver compared to Fettel, but Kimi is my guy. I just can't see myself rooting for a Mercedes driver, even if he were in a red car. Nando and Kimi would be a dream team—exactly what most fans want to see.

He’s basically telling you in a roundabout, subtle way: "Look, I've got money, and I'm more than happy to spend it on you."

Money has nothing to do with it—he had plenty of that long before now. Last year, he seemed actually happy, joking around with Button. But since moving to Merc, it's a complete shift. It’s likely just the frustration of realizing there isn't even a shot at the title this season, let alone fighting for it. If he manages to snag a win, it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

Yes.
And that handed Massa yet another point. Congratulations to the winner, once again. I am eagerly anticipating when we finally fix our qualifying setup so that plačko can actually show some backbone. The car isn't nearly as bad as people claim, considering Massa gained eight positions—and he still had to contend with both Webber and Hamilton on track. We won't even count Bottas.
