Anyone still running Windows 7?

So, I just finished installing Windows 7 and now I've got this 30-day countdown timer telling me I need to Activate... honestly, what should I do to get rid of that annoying prompt? I completely lost track of what I was doing earlier >D

Well, assuming you actually bought your Windows license, right?
We aren't exactly running a piracy hub here.

Right-click on MyComputer > Properties. Once that window pops up, you'll see an option at the bottom that says "change cdkey." Just click that and type in the key found on the box of the Windows you bought. After you enter the key, hit Activate and your Windows should be all set in just a few moments.

It just depends on which browser you're running. You'll need to turn on InPrivate Browsing (Firefox, Safari, Opera), incognito mode in Google Chrome, or InPrivate Browsing in Internet Explorer. Once you do that, your browsing history won't stick around. 🙂

Is there any way to pin gadgets directly onto the desktop wallpaper?
Here's the deal: I have various system monitors installed, but I really don't want them cluttering up my workspace. Ideally, I’d like to be able to move my mouse right over them without triggering any reactions—no color changes, no pop-up side menus, nothing. I even want the option to place an icon right on top of them. Basically, I want them to function purely as part of the background. To be clear, I wouldn't want this applied to everything, just specific gadgets.

So, here’s the deal... my computer keeps shutting down on me every few dozen minutes. Where should I go to get this fixed?

What's actually causing it to shut down? Could be a virus or something.
