I’m feeling a bit uneasy too. It isn't because they're necessarily better than us, but because of this idea that they are our "typical customers." It reminds me of how people used to talk about soccer vs. baseball—it's like how Italians view us. What kind of customers? We barely saw them when we played in Palermo back when we had our all-time greatest generation; we managed one draw, got crushed once in a tournament, and beat their youth squad once. They are hardly our "customers," even if we do seem to play well against them sometimes.
The same goes for these Spaniards. They might be a good matchup for us, but I expect the game will stay dead even the whole way through. We'll have to give it everything we've got to pull off the win.
